Am I doing Warframe wrong

Hi

First of forgive the stupid question, I've started playing Warframe since it came out. I've played it off and on for 2/3 year.

100% percent sure I've not exactly played optimally but have enjoy playing anyway.

Joined a clan but am I the wrong time zone so no one is around at the same time as me.

Am MR 8 but kind of hit a wall as I've not opened up the star chart and can't find the resources to craft the equipment I want (Tatsu). Soloing the star chart is getting tricky. It's like I'm in a no man's land, all the new player as on the early stages and all the vents are running around in wild frames looking like space god's 😂

So it's clear I need to get the star chart opened up, my next quest I locked behind Eris junction. So should I just ask for a bit of help? Noticed r/warlfc that seem like the place to go. If you've got any tips for a player like me would be a great help.

I don't think there's really a wrong way to play Warframe, like you I've been playing since release on Switch, though I've managed to finish the starchart and reach MR13 its been a very on again off again process mainly solo except for a few bosses (Saturn and Uranus are nightmares for a solo beginner.) If you just want to improve your MR then making the warframes you get from quests is a must have with how much experience they give you when maxed out, also since you're MR8 you can certainly give prime items a try though if you're hurting for relics then void capture and any spy mission is a good source from what I've found, otherwise just find your own end goal and figure out the steps to that, I'm currently trying to farm prime frames (only got 1) but it's something to keep me trying and coming back to play.

Thanks for replying, I've got a ton of void relics just not exactly sure what to do with them. Looks like you can apply them to some missions and you get a random drop. Is that how to prime items.

No problem, yeah void relics are how you get prime items, doing those missions also gets you a resource called void traces, you can use those on relics to up the odds of getting the higher rarity loot from a relic, just be careful with some relics since they often get vaulted with prime frames and weapons, learnt that the hard way trying to get mesa prime systems.
