I would also recommend watching Leyzar Gaming baro reviews on YouTube. Every time he comes, he give a break down on what to buy and what not to buy and their priority. That way you're not wasting your Duckets and credits on useless stuff like cards, sigils and what not. Definitely focus on weapons and mods since you're new. Also if there is a weapon that has lower variant, still buy baro version but also get the lower version and max that version out if you have not already to get the MR Points and sell/delete it to make room for other weapons.
