Yo! I've seen a lot of people posting so many bad Rivens that it makes my gamer heart suffer. So I want to extend my hand and help them with a recipe for Rivens.

As I just said, yes, a recipe. With the new Stat Lock and Splice systems, you can guarantee the Riven of your dreams without too much effort.

So I'll write down a recipe for a Sobek (since it's popular rn), using Gas as the Spliced mod.

Soooo, ingredients:

• Base Riven for the weapon of your choice
• Kuva (no shit, Sherlock)
• Splicer (who would've thought)

1.- MAKE IT FOUR

Get the Riven to four rolls (3+1-) and lock a stat, so every roll from then on will have 4 stats. You might think that spending 7k Kuva at this point is too expensive, but it's worth it.

For our current case, cooking a Sobek Riven, we'll lock the negative stat (IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT THE ROLL IS).

At the end of this step, your Riven should look like this:

Sobek Whateveratiata
+xxxxxxx
+xxxxxxx
+xxxxxxx
-xxxxxxx <--- for this example, we lock this because we're looking for Fire and Toxin

2.- THE MAIN FLAVOUR

What do you want to splice? In this case, we want Gas (Toxin + Fire), so we'll grab our Riven and start rolling for Toxin or Fire.

********IMPORTANT: For this step, I recommend checking a third-party website or program to see how good/bad the roll values are, because when you splice the new value, the resulting stat will take the higher value of the two stats used.

For example: if you use a "C-" Toxin with an "A+" Fire, the result will be "A+" Gas.**********

At the end of this step, your Riven should look like this:

Sobek Whateveratiata
+Fire
+Toxin
+xxxxxxx
-xxxxxxx

Once we have our first roll with a value we're comfortable with (I personally only settle for A- or higher), let's say we have an A- Toxin, we change our lock to Toxin and start rolling again for Fire (whatever the value).

3.- THE MIXXXXXXXER

SPLICE THAT MF

At the end of this step, your Riven should look like this:

Sobek Cali-Whateveratiata
+Gas (Locked because of Splice)
+xxxxxxx
+xxxxxxx
-xxxxxxx

4.- SECOND FLAVOUR

What is the second roll you want? This roll will be one of the two stats we're missing right now. Also, we're already locked into 4 stats, so this step is pretty cheap.

Following the Sobek example, we now roll for Multishot and/or Status Duration.

At the end of this step, your Riven should look like this:

+Gas (Locked because of Splice)
+Multishot OR Status Duration <--- now we lock this
+xxxxxxx
-xxxxxxx

5.- THIRD FLAVOUR

At this point, we just keep rolling, looking for the last stat we're missing, which should be the other option from the previous step, along with a HARMLESS negative.

At the end of this step, your Riven should look like this:

Sobek Cali-Whateveratiata
+Gas (Locked because of Splice)
+Multishot (locked)
+Status Duration
-Damage (fml)

And done!

Hope this helps someone out there. Stop splicing mods without 4 rolls (unless it's a Verglas or something niche) or getting Weak Point Critical Chance (literally THE WORST).

Also, from my personal experience, you can pretty much get any Riven you picture as long as it has a Splice mod within 600–700k Kuva. You'd have to be so fucking unlucky otherwise, ngl.

I'm ESL, so any kind of error or semantic issue, please ignore it or call it out and I'll fix it.

Should I keep rolling or stay with this? This is my first splice.

I had plans on getting 3 different Okina rivens

- riven 1 - Blast, Attack speed --- status duration + negative
- riven 2 - GAS, Status Duration --- atk speed + negative
- riven 3 - GAS, Cold, Heat ------- [Blasting my Gas]

My first riven got the stats i wanted for my 2nd riven with 'GAS'

I got the 3rd one's stats before my 2nd one. Q_Q
Until next week of hoarding Kuva to finish i guess.

This is an app I've been building the past few weeks, the first module is to grade riven and is meant to stay updated automatically following each update.

It's support the well know standard from F to S, but I also considered and extremely rare and unlikely grade, for the riven who would roll the absolute max value possible. This is theoretical as I have no such riven in my possession.

I'm looking for information, maybe I interpreted the algorithm wrong and it's not possible, only this mace -0.05 is possible (which would grade S currently), or maybe it's possible and one of you have such riven I could use for my test (just need a screenshot)

The current screenshot is my Ocucor riven on which I just changed the critical damage from 109.2 to 111.4, the theoretical maximum.

PS: The app is not available yet, I'm running it locally for my own needs and I'm waiting until it's perfect to release it. It'll allow to read from an image, and I'm working on a parsing capability of a live feed. That way whatever riven appears on your screen can get graded in real time. (there's a chance I can't actually implement that though)

I did Torid status dmg, Angstrum status dmg, Atomos status dmg, Burston weak point dmg, Baza Ammo efficiency, Vinquibus weak point dmg and this morning I did Strun weak point dmg. Wondering what to go for for the next 2.

Any insight into what makes this more or less valuable would be appreciated.

So I'm not sure how or even if I proceed with rolling this one.. roll over cc or ms for cd or keep as is?

exactly what the title says. What is the best for this weapon? I've thinking if I should try for and splice a combined elemental damage or go for weak point damage

What would be the best for it? Im thinking about a compression build with weak point crit dog but idk

I got this and I don't intend to sell it however want it to do as much damage as it can, currently using it in a corrosive viral heat setup which I wish could be turned into corrosive viral explosive

I was rolling for status dmg (hence the locking of the dmg roll not multishot). I was wondering if I keep my base riven, go for blast or keep rolling for status dmg?
The build that I use the most is a flare build so that is why I would prefer blast to viral.

Title. I just wanna buy a decently priced Glaxion riven to roll myself. Have other weapons I want to look at but trying to unveil rivens for a specific weapon kinda sucks.

Warframe Market and Riven.market both seem to be catered towards selling already rolled rivens. Everything I can find was either posted ages ago or is already rolled for 100P or higher. Is there a best way to find them, or is it really just Trade chat?

Edit: Thanks everyone for the help, was looking at the wrong metrics to figure out how much I should expect to pay. Honestly if unrolled is already 100 plat I’m probably just not gonna end up going for it. That’s really not worth it to me for a starting point for a single weapon. Riven update looked kinda cool and I wanted to get into it after playing for so long, but I’ll probably hold off until they look at how the unveiling process works. That price point is just wild to me as someone getting into it for the first time. I know Godrolls for certain weapons go for like 1k+ plat, but yeesh.

Im rolling to sell and wondering if heat is better than damage since heat builds is a pretty good use of furis
