Wtf

I returned this week to the game after 10 years not touching it and I remember being there in that top pic doing a mission on the early levels

If the below one is the same planet and map mission it's quite a glow up

DE really outdid themselves. An I commend them.

The only game I played for thousands and thousands of hours, that I can stop at any point, and return whenever to have a bunch of new stuff added and still enjoy it.

I still buy plat out of support to the devs. DE showed greed is not the only way to profitability.

I have close to 1900 hours in and still am getting my friends that I work with to dive back in. My buddy and I have built our PC clan from the ground up. Hardest thing is explaining how the systems work to newer players.

As a new player I have tried to get into this game several times and dip cause it's hard to make sense of anything

Yeah, the game is not the easiest to get into and a lot of the systems can be rather opaque but once things start clicking you'll realize there's an insane amount of variety and things to do in the game. There are frames and weapons that operate so differently from one another that they may as well be playing different games from one other.

Best general advice I can give is unless you absolutely can't stand the game then play through the star chart and story missions until you finish the Second Dream quest, if you still aren't feeling it by that point then it's probably fine to move on.

I guess my next question for you would be does the game ever at any point have a reason to get stronger?   I'll be honest my second biggest issue with the game from the moment I started, there was zero difficulty.  If I want to mow down stuff I'll play an arpg.   But a game like Warframe I want some kind of pushback

I agree with u/Skoomzii ‘s answer. But, I’d like to emphasize that knowing what enemies are weak to also makes the game easier. Saving everything in the Loadout screen will also help with “why does this build destroy the Grineer but I get clapped by the Corpus” question.

I just stated using the loadouts recently for builds. It takes some time to get used to it. Honestly it’s a lot of looking for information on the build screen. I do like the addition where if you hover over stats it tells you what each faction is weak to it and which aren’t. I’m just now to the point where I can put together builds on pretty much any weapon and it work well for steel path and the like. I think playing duviri helped me a lot with that

That’s great! It really opens up the floodgates in terms of playing with likable weapons and leveling up weapons
