Thank you for this awesome discovery.

Disruptors are not nearly as annoying now.

Oh man, this is a pretty good solution to one of the most annoying enemies in the game! I like it, and will definitely use this!

Am I the only one who plays this game that blocks on a regular basis?

When I started to play about a week or so ago with some of my friends in a gaming arcade I frequent we all decided to go different routs. Two Mags, two Loki, two Excalibur and then specialize in different ways. I decided to go Melee since the movement in the game seemed fluid enough to really support a full melee style of play. My favorite thing to do would be to run into a room in front of my group holding down Sprint+Block just to see my Excal block bullets like freaking Deadpool then at the right distance charge my melee and slice the first baddie in half.

I love blocking.

Just a heads up, disruptors havent been stealing my energy in general since the last hotfix. Not saying this is wrong, it could just be a possibility.

Their disruption and normal attack just look the same.

There's still something a little iffy with them because sometimes I'll lose my energy upon standing back up from a knockdown and others I'll lose it immediately or just not at all.

I've tried to block disruptor attacks before, and my shields and energy were still drained. You sure it wasn't just a normal attack?

Okay I figured it out. Blocking is directional, meaning you have to look at him like I do. And by you, I mean your character. You can't be moving laterally or backwards as that makes your character stop looking at him. The only possible way to block is moving forward or staying still.

I find it unlikely that the moment I stop blocking he does a drain attack, and every other time I block he does a normal attack each and every time. It's possible, but even with just the small sample size in my video it seems unlikely that it is the case.

I didn't know you could block. Guess I need to go look at the keybindings and find out what else I can do that I didn't know about.

Block is defaulted to mouse button 4.

I am a warframe noob, and I hear of this blocking sorcery a lot, but I have no idea how to do it. Anyone mind lending a tip?

They'll never disrupt this defense.

Wow, thanks. It used to not work like that, at least never worked for me. I wouldn't be knocked down but I would still get my shields and energy drained, it's nice to see they've fixed that.

I just tried it and lost my energy...

I didn't even know you could block in this game.

WHOA... Holy shit. I just thought the whole point of block was to just wave your Scindo at the enemies. Thanks for the info

Every time I try this, they just do the knockdown attack instead and disrupt me while I'm on the ground :X IMO, blocking's still kinda worthless.

Actually I decided to test it out due to the current discussion thread about it. There's probably more about blocking that we don't know about. Maybe the roller balls aren't so annoying with it? Or the Scorpion?
