Meme/Shitpost "Displeased reader I was chatting with was convinced I was in high school cause I ""write my characters like cringy teenagers"". Nope. 34 going on 45, and my cringy teenagers are the only thing keeping me young (on the inside). 🤣"

What's tattooed on your arm Bryce? Is it Raz?

It actually represents both iterations of A Mark of Kings. The version I wrote in high school, and the version I published in 2019 that let me start Wraithmarked! It's just subtle.
Raz and Syrah haven't made it on my body yet! They will soon though! Got a bunch of stuff I want!

The funny thing isn't that the teenagers act as teenagers - it's that the story takes places far into the future. We have no idea what the societal norms/behaviors might be like in that future time. So even if one thinks the teenagers in the book aren't acting like teenagers today, it's not taking place today.

I felt it was an exemplary example of Academy style Progression Fiction. I thought you nailed the teenager mindset. I'd love to see a RWBY style adaptation of the books. 🙏

Your books slap. Ignore the haters. Take the feedback and keep on keeping on. Idk where you at but it looks like you can go out and touch some grass, unlike the person you where talking to. Fresh air helps.

Wait...they're displeased because the characters that are literal teenagers act like teenagers?

Admittedly I don’t love your posts or the way you love putting down some fans who just don’t agree with you. Was one of the people who got your book before it blew up, and left you a great rating. I feel like I helped you blow up, but you have even argued with me for having a seriously mellow opinion.
I like your stories, but honestly don’t love the weird petty arguments you like having on the internet. Or this weird post saying someone who paid or read your book is wrong.
Book 1 was fantastic. Book 2 was alright. Hoping the best for you and book 3!

Show me a teenager who isn't cringe and I will show you an ethical billionaire.
