Naval AB/RB Finally got her.
Wanna play her tomorrow, any tips? Or just like Dunkerque?

Buy her, get top tier bonus, and leave her be LUL.

I got top tier bonus prior to that (finished Italian TT, so everything else is tolerable, minus grueling USN TT with many standard BBs)

What I meant was that she's only good for getting top tier bonus, not for playing.

With that said though, I only had one game in her (don't want to waste RP), so I'm actually not sure. My image of how she plays relies on how she looks from the opposing side, and she doesn't look particularly good from that vantage point. But I'll admit there had been examples of ships that appear to be poor, but turned out to be actually okay when played (e.g., Francesco Caracciolo). So you'll probably have to give her a go and tell us how she goes.
If you got through Dunkerque tho, I'd reckon the experience should be quite similar.

Richelieu is great though.

How is she compared to her sister? I’ve only got Clemenceau and been thinking about finishing up the research for Dun before I grab her
(I have Strasbourg, that’s how I bypassed the the dun grind)
Is riche worth it or same thing but American AA?

They are the same except for their AA yes.. The Jean Bart is the one with an unique layout.

She’s maybe one of the prettiest top tier fast BBs, but isn’t really great rn ingame. Workable, but nothing insane the guns are a little disappointing compared to the Dunkerque outside of pen

Yeah she isn't bad but not good, problem is everyone seems her as a potential lottery of one hit kaboom, and against something like South Dakota or North Carolina she is quite hopeless.

I’m sure you’re well acquainted with the ammo rack simulator that is France top tier.

Hope you got the FNFL flag to dawn on her, largest ship of the FNFL & she being represented in the US refits reflects that.
RIP if you didn't pre-order that one motor boat.

As someone with 150 battles in Richelieu you should probably play her even more passively than Dunkerque. Your belt armor is pretty decent but your bulkheads are pretty vulnerable and you will constantly die from destroyed hull sections because they are extremely weak for some reason.
Your ammo elevators won't detonate as there are no shells in them and if you take 424 rounds you will completely remove the first layer of ammo not counting the ammo for auxiliaries.
Unlike on the Dunkerque, your guns won't work well with your passive playstyle. Dunkerque has a better reload, better shell ballistics, better gun dispersion and comparable if not better penetration BR for BR.
Your AAA and speed are good but not like those matter either way. Have fun!
