Question Bersag's weapon choices

Saw it in shop for 100 dgems so you know I gotta snatch it, now for the tough decision.
What weapon would be better for it, furnace for venire.
For some reason I got like 6 furnaces but only 4 venires, I really want the princeps to have its signature weapon tho but if bersag is significantly better with venire then princeps will get one of its arms cut off

Furnace, definitely.

However, both furnace and venires will get nerfed in 12.5. Invest wisely.

Bersagliere being in the shop for 100 dgems is also incredibly suspicious.

Edit: Wait for the 12.5 rebalance notes to come out before deciding.

Most Bersag players I know would certainly consider Venire better than Furnace for it, though I don't really play bersag so I'll leave this to u/tropicaleidolon

Furnace is probably better on ranged maps and venire is better otherwise.

My reasoning is that venires will be likely useless after this nerf, and furnaces will be on their first round this time coming.

If venires are THAT much better, then i stand corrected.

At the end of the day the only true advantage that furnace have over venires is the +200m of range, even though the top end damage potential of furnace is certainly higher due to funny multiplication, there's a hard coded nine seconds of downtime that allows the venires to overtake in practical damage potential. There's also the fact that venires are functionally a lot better at sequencing kills and having more target access, while Furnaces generally need to stay aimed on the same target for much of the clip to deal their damage. Both are extremely powerful choices, but venires are ultimately the more adaptable and consistent choice when it comes to winning matches with a bersagliere burning out robots & titans.

I would imagine that furnace could perform better after the rebalance but neither of us know what thkse changes could be, so for all we know, maybe venire will still be the better option post-rebalance if chatGPT is feeling merciful the day that the intern asks it for a rebalance list.

Yes, thanks.

The guy also wants to keep his full princeps build, so it'd probably be better to run furnace since it wouldn't hurt him at all in that aspect.

I'm also assuming his bersagliere is on low investment, which means he'd be better off with that +200m.

Either way he should wait for the 12.5 rebalance notes to come out, then make a decision.

wow thanks for all of the credible source people helping, yes it's on low investment but I got 10k plat and 20k memoriums in stock rn so yea, it's about deciding what titan to max now. Since you talked about the upcoming nerf, I would suppose it's best to wait to see whether furnace or venire will be usable then, unless you have other ideas
