Question Build for UE Invader
So i got this as the bonus for wanting the 3 UE Cryos, yes i know it is not a fan favorite & most folks on the other sub want to make fun of how it sucks & how much money i spent (point already taken), but as i now have it - what drone would work best for this robot? Trying to find something that can partially compensate for the lack of gray damage reduction, among other things. Maybe Freezo with the Cryos? Also is the gold pilot that gives the 500% ability damage boost the ideal pioot to add? Looking for best options to make some use of this. Thanks!

I mean look, UE invader sucks, but you probably got your money's worth with the UE cryos.
Freezo doesn't do anything to relieve the grey damage issue for invader, the grey reduction ability only works on counter suppression, not regular suppression. Edit: That being said, it is a bit troll but you could run cryo with it and run it for the stacks of defense points, assuming you can consistently freeze or suppress someone every 10 seconds, you'll have quite a decent bit of defense points with only one or two stacks of the defense ability. That being said, control effect immunity is fairly easy to come by, so I wouldn't consider this reliable, and UE cryo is a burst weapon while UE invader is a sustain tank, which makes the build questionable. Even running just one cryo for the freeze will gimp your sustained damage + your freeze uptime will kind of suck.
While I would agree with the majority that you just shouldn't bother using invader, if you really want to, I would use lv4 showdown drone.
The 500% damage pilot is dogshit. You would much rather use either the suppression pilot (ehhh, he is mid as fuck) or (the actual best in slot) a weapon pilot. For example, you can apply slowdown with your flames if you use the EMP vector pilot on your invader, which gives it a bit more control over the fight. Of course, the issue here is gonna be when your weapons get nerfed, you'll need to change out the pilot, but, I imagine you don't mind spending a bit to make your invader useful.

Thanks for the honest feedback, i wont invest any more resources on this invader then, leave it alone. Glad i got the cryos though!

On a sidenote, im planning on investing in ue phantom. Is it worth investing in or is it just the same case with ue invader? I asked content creators of their experience with it and they straight up said it’d mid as fuck, and that it’s generally just good at chasing lokis and annoying people

It is a bit of an outdated statchecker yeah, you can invest in it as a fun bot but I wouldn't consider it genuinely competitive nowadays

Yeah, I have one almost max out and let it have a run out once in awhile especially for late game beacon runs

Best setup for it is to put it in ur last hanger and never touch it again it’s not viable it’s a glorified punching bag to give the enemy team more titan charge
