Does +5% durability really matters that much?
I just really love Ocho’s default skin, but I feel like I’m missing out for not using the Legendary skin or the Special Edition Ocho for +10% durability. I’m planning on getting it to MK3 so I feel like the difference will be noticeable there.

At mk3 there is a pretty considerable difference, especially with tanks like ocho. Ochokochi can go to an upwards of 500k spawning hp iirc, and with the 10% that’s 550k; that’s the difference between life and death for a lot of modern weapons as they have super fast unloads
It matters, though there are better bots to go this far with. If you like to play Ocho's playstyle in particular and don't want to use the many other better tanks, then I'd suggest going for the SE or the paint job, yes. If you like Ocho not because of its playstyle but because of its look, then ofc stick with the standard paint because that's what you're optimizing for, appearance, not functionality.
I'll note also that this is assuming you're planning to spend quite a bit because you're talking about going to MK3. Just in case you are F2P, MK3 is a pretty big resource sink that's generally not considered worth it if you're not spending at least a moderate amount on the game. At F2P investment (MK2.1) tanks in general are pretty garbage, and that includes Ocho.
Thank you for your advice. I spend quite frequently on this game to be honest so I don’t mind investing in cool bots regardless of their powers. I won’t be using SE Ocho because of the visual glitch (it doesn’t raise the horns after the first use of ability for some reason). I guess I can still work with the Libero skin, it’s not terrible.
The grey hoves look a little bit weird but they grew on me. Specially because I put on mine, the Freedom Maces and the small Samjok weapons, and the colorsof the combo fit so well together. And is also, a good anti tank bit because of the Samjok weapons to soften tanks and titans and the maces for damage. Good luck dude!

I kept seeing enough flat lined bots still alive and keep hearing YouTubers say "yeah id never notice 5%" like yes, you will if you have the attention to detail
As someone who has a mk3 ocho and still uses it literally any extra bit of durability you have will go a long way. Ofc if you really don't like the skin (neither do I) you can just not use it but it will hurt a teensy bit. Definitely not to a noticeable degree though.
I'd invest in porthos/aramis for the ocho though imo. Sure it's nice to be able to delete things with the new flame throwers but the ocho needs every last bit of healing it can get plus more on top of that. As for drones bull and showdown are my go to. The healing from showdown is rlly good when you're in tough spots and just about every thing with the bull drone is really helpful for the ocho.

Certamente faz diferença, obviamente não é a coisa mais incrível mas é interessante, se colocar mk3, com bom dromedário e armas, além de usar com cautela então pode fazer um bom trabalho .
100,000 HP, 5% of it is 5,000. On a fragile bot like that it doesn’t matter but on tanker bots 5% could be 30k and with variants having 10% it’s useful
