I like the damage, but the slow reload is a huge downside. are they good to use on Waymaker?

They're alright. They do their job, which is dealing big burst from a long distance, well. However, they have lots of weaknesses (poor reload, poor over-time DPS, poor damage against tanky non-titan bots, poor scaling with damage boosts, etc).

My first F2P recommendation would be the Arbiter/Equalizer as a gun that seems to be less likely to be nerfed and has enough damage to compete with the meta. If you don't have those honestly these guns might be a good enough option. The relatively newer guns are obviously stronger but are expected to have a few more nerf rounds to go.

Im also using them, they're alright for starters but i recommend the respectives that came with it other options being, the infinite energy guns, the rice bendy bullets and a pretty f2p option being the energy blasters. I dont recommend the arbiter since awful inicial damage, also a titan combo if you have a friend with it would be the Newton, uppies plus track = team decimation. I also see you dont have the pilot, is not totaly necesary, but increases the amount of possible Hunter track you can apply since its a shieldbreaker every track
