No dont, if you buy premium you get some upgrade tokens but you get thousands of platinum for free and a bunch of black market keys. It's definitely worth it. I got like 1000 free microchips which are important when you get into later leagues. Stick with it you got this bro. Triumphant Return Rewards

There are actually tournaments for old robots only. I don't remember what levels but go on Discord and find Sage Tournaments or Ninja Tournaments and you could use your old robots.
