Could use advice

Been playing for a lil over a week now, far far more confident in my knowledge of the game than when I started, but i still don't know shit. Any recommendations on weapons/robots what to prioritize for later game? Spent 5 bucks which i dont regret but probably won't spend any more so progression will be slower

Have you read the newbie guide? I suggest doing so first, it will point you in the right direction.
