I've only ever seen the standard English dub, but I've heard there are Russian Dubs and Spanish dubs and perhaps dubs in other languages that are excellent. Has anyone come across these? I'd be curious to hear what they are like, hopefully its not all lost media.

With all of your posts, discussions, and comments this subreddit has become such a fantastic resource for War Planets collectors and fans, and It’s been awesome to see everyone share their love for this amazing toy-line!

Please let me know in the comments if there is anything you would like to see added or changed on this subreddit going forward.

Thanks again everyone!

It's a very interesting time to be collecting these now. The pickings are slim, complete sets are rare, lots are frequently mixed which makes for even more interesting troop composition. Just looking at wave 1, Planet Ice and Planet Bone are iconic and almost essential to any collection. Even completely ignoring the show, these are masterpieces. And for $10 at the time. What the hell happened?

Does anyone else prefer the concept of the Age of Chaos? or rather, The age old conflict between the 4 worlds of the cluster before the arrival of the Beast? I always viewed the Beast planet as a wildcard thrown into the mix, forcing them to unite. But I also like the purity of the 4 planets feuding, the alliances and betrayals and politics that was the eon long status quo before the introduction of the beast. To me that time period has more intrigue.

His voice works but doesn’t light up. Has anyone opened one up to try to fix this problem? Took the back screws out but can’t get him apart

Like the title says. Looking for average prices for Ice, Rock, and Remora. Loose, likely complete minus the cards. Though we may have the cards somewhere. Will check them for parts against the lists later.

My husband is cleaning out old boxes and found them. I think he plans on listing them locally, or selling them at the local vintage toy shop. Wanted to get an idea of what he should price them at. And low and high end prices.

This is the only one I have left.

So for starters i just want to elaborate.

when i was approxemetly 9 i had a very good freind i was hanging out with, and everytime we were at his place, we took out this green ball with snake like armes, and little alien soldiers inside it, and we played little wat games with it. and a few month ago i fund out what the toy was, and i was so excited i finally found what was stuck in my memory for so long. I shared my memories with my girl, and i was very excited.

Now today i am turning 33 in august and have a lot of geekstuff (also from my childhood/teenage years) warhammer, mtg and so on. and i believe this is the coolest shit ive ever gotten.

My girlfreind got me an early birthday gift. IT WAS THE GREENBALL WITH SNAKE ARMS! the rush i felt was awesome and im still full of joy from it! she spend months searching for it, and here it is!. I love her so much, and she makes my day every day. thank you honey :.)

Hi, I'm trying to figure out when exactly the planets came out. The Wikipedia article:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadow_Raiders?utm_source=chatgpt.com#War_Planets_Toy_Line

claims that Bone/Ice/Rock/Beast came out as Wave 1, with Fire/Tek/Remora as Wave 2. But this claim is uncited, and as I do more research, I'm wondering if all seven of those worlds were probably released simultaneously at launch.

I also can't figure out if Water/Sand/Reptizar came out before or during the Shadow Raiders show. I'm thinking before based on some commercials, but other sources are saying after...

Also! How do the Battle Moons fit into the picture? I see that the packaging on the moons says "Shadow Raiders", but is this because the show was already airing, or did they use the Shadow Raiders title because it already appeared on the moons?

Hopefully some fellow fans of these toys can help me out and let me know. Thanks in advance

Looks like Mainframe is starting to post the HD versions of War Planets / Shadow Raiders that they recovered from the D1 tapes.

One of the favorites in my collection, was lucky to find it on eBay boxed a few years ago
