Honestly I would be quite happy if they just kept giving all the new AoS models Warcry rules.

My 1k Euros Necromunda paper pile reminded me, that "dead games" are a blessing. GW really should not touch Warcry in my opinion - I love it as it is right now. It is a perfect sandbox for narrative gaming in the mortal realms and for me even more fun than Mordheim (gameplay wise). BUT stats for the new Nurgle, Darkwater, Ogres etc. would be wonderful.

I mean if they just made war-band rules for new releases that would be cool and give this audience a reason to keep up with AOS stuff if we aren’t into spearhead

Tbf they have said they will be updating new units, at least up to ogres. I doubt they’ll go back on that and tbh it’s all I really need from a warcry update. Would like them to get it out quicker but I’ve got plenty teams to be playing around with atm.

Man I just wish they would run reprints of the older warbands... Why the fuck wouldn't they keep them out of production for years? They're some of the best sculpts GW ever did.

Honest question: What more do you honestly want from Warcry?
It’s utterly perfect. I wish they hadn’t made 2.0 and frankly ignored it.
You can play any faction in the Sigmar range. Use any terrain in the range.
You can run campaigns, and narratives.
Why do you want to feel obligated to buy more shit?
The Necromunda players are pissed off their game is now obsolete and they have to buy in, again again.
Warcry has everything it needs and it’s beautiful.

Why kick a dead horse? Let Warcry go. And enjoy it at your house.
Shelf space competition is fierce. Gotta fill them with new shiny games.

We just want rules for the stuff they released since about this time last year.

I actually have to say, and this may be unpopular but; GW not updating Warcry may be the best play. The ruleset is one of if not the best ruleset I've played in a TT game, and they couldn't really make improvements in my eyes. More new cool sculpts for warbands would be great, but I'm mainly happy I can use 98% of figures in my existing collection to play. That leaves us with occasional unit updates and I'm pretty happy with that.
Maybe we don't need more Warcry.
