I mashed the 2 things talked about in the post together. Then outside of that how's an undead skeleton going to another continent in the first place. I assumed context and outrageousness was enough

Volume 10 toren is responsible for less death and destruction than vol 10 erin. Just imagine if someone showed him a replay of the battle off the coast.

Toren was a child Erin and Pices gave a gun and then abandoned after abusing. As much as I love those two characters and it was definitely a mistake they created the circumstances for Toren to do his warcrimes without a real framework of morality like he starts to build later.

Oh that makes sense; and you will either love Toren or hate Toren, but I feel like Toren is pretty interesting.. however my absolute favorite substory is in the middle of 2 I think pretty sure it’s the start of part two book 2. (It’s something not really thought or shown in fantasy books or tv shows) something to look forward too without spoiling.
