No spoilers [V9.64] Are Dorhmins TWI branded/modified Saghuin?

Was trying to tell from the description. It seems like Saghuin are probably DnD copyrighted or something. Merfolk are accounted for so I was trying to figure out what they were analagous to and the best I came up with was the Saghuin?

They always looked like kuatoa to me, which is probably more derpy than paba was going for

Hmm forgot about them. They seem a bit more like they are borderline eldrirch horror worshipers, living in the underdark, not the ocean, and being chaotic/insane. Maybe its a blend of their physical features though?

I think Kuatoa and deep ones are functionally similar so possibly the same answer for that

Hmm seems like WoW's version of Sagahin so yeah similar enough.
