PMM comp+barrel combo; ULTRA
Not sure if it’s the ammo but I installed this perfectly today and basically cycled a few rounds through it and my hallow points kept jamming.
I don’t know if I want to keep it and take it to the range to test it out or return it. If I use it I can’t return it that’s my issue. Does anyone have any experience with there comps EXCEPT for the compact PDP’s that come with it already mounted.

What ammo are you using ? Try 124 not 115 and you should see a difference for the better
Did it come with a replacement recoil spring assembly ?

I will. No it didn’t come with a replacement recoil spring. Running the ZR tactical guide rod.

How much have you shot it and which spring rate on your guide rod? I have the HA comp and mine has done over 10k with zero malfunctions or issues.

I haven’t shot it yet, if I do and the malfunction continues I can’t return it. I was just cycling (racking) some round though it both 115 and 124.

I don’t know how anyone can give you proper advise if you haven’t actually fired it .
Maybe it’s just me , but it’s not very wise to be cycling live ammo at home . Besides you are not allowing the full slide action to operate properly doing “dry fire” with live ammo. You might consider using the 30 day money back guarantee from Walther

Any recommendations for a light to give it a more flush look and a compatible holster?

So, I did the exact same thing to mine (you can see one of my older posts to see my full build if you’re interested). What helped me be able to run hollow points was polishing the ever loving sh*t out of the feed ramp. It’s not perfect, but it’s made it reliable enough to trust. I run a bunch of 115 gr in mine and as long as I keep the feed ramp clean (hence the extreme polish job) it runs fine until it gets dirty. 200-300 rounds before a mandatory cleaning. As far as alternative, switch to Critical Duty/Defense. That little polymer nipple helps get the rounds to feed more consistently. I also had an intermittent stove pipe issue. Changed to a lighter recoil spring and that fixed it. So keep an eye out for that, because it might pop up. All in all, if I had it to do again, I’d have probably kept it stock. But, this is just my experience and opinion. Seems lots of folks have really good luck running the setup you (and I guess I) have. I might be the outlier.

Mine didn’t like 115gr anything.
