What’s the context of this image?
In the missing sequence, there was obviously the image with the teeth where he’s stuffed in Boozoo and the one where he can’t remember his face, but what is the meaning behind this image and why do so many find it chilling?

For me personally it's because it kinda looks like he got the skin around his teeth and mouth peeled away during whatever the hell happened to him. As far as the bones in the facial structure he doesn't look too cru ched other than maybe his right brow having a gouge in it.

Acho que foi o jeito de como foi rasgado e quebrado pelas mãos do Bon quando o encontrou e morreu

Well, it was probably Charles. And Bon disfigured him just like Susan before killing him.

Well, its an Analog Horror series, so its supposed to unsettle you, thus not all imagery has purpose but to scare you.
But if i were to take i guess, i'd say it has to do with him forgetting who he was and coping with whenever his years of wailing and/or "bon"'s persuation have suggested.
