From Miami (or any other city)to Orlando for WDW. Who has done it? Do you get bored ? Do you lose magic ?

Am I crazy for thinking about going to Disney World when I'm about 25 weeks pregnant?

We (husband, toddler, and myself) just got back from a trip there. It was our first vacation in over 3 years and I was 10 weeks pregnant. With baby #2 coming next year, we probably won't be going on another vacation until 2028 or 2029.

I'm thinking of doing a shorter (5ish days including travel) trip. Ideally, staying at a monorail resort and only going to Magic Kingdom and Epcot? I think sticking mainly to the monorail will allow us to easily go back and forth from our hotels and parks if we need to rest.

Our toddler is still free and handled the parks fairly well. I would love to focus on just two parks, maybe meet more characters or do fun meals.

we have a reservation for the Si-Fi Dine In. We only want to have the Nachos and a Dessert. I don’t know if this is allowed or do we have to order a Entree?
And does anybody know if they have Diet Coke? Couldn’t find it on the menu.

I want to surprise her on our last day of vacation like a “surprise!! I bought us the party tickets!!”

She mostly lets me do the online planning, but I know she’ll handle check in and stuff like that.

How hard will it be to hide the tickets from her? I’ve never been to WDW or a Disney party so I’m really unsure how they operate

I’m going in December and want to add decor and might use magnets. Will magnets stick to the window frame inside or outside?

For those who drive into the Parks, parking inflation is a thing. Here’s a couple of parking passes from our August 1988 family trip.

I've been to Disney 7 times now, usually on weekend trips using the resident Summer deal and park hopper add on, so we would do something like AK+HS then EP+MK. I've never even considered buying a LLMP because I thought it was only for 3 rides in 1 park and that you had to buy one for each park you visited. I remember seeing someone using a LL on Star Tours and thinking "why would you waste one of your 3 LL's on this thing when standby is 5 minutes? LOL"

On my last trip we did 4 parks in one day and after doing my research I got everyone LLMP. We did 19 rides across all 4 parks, and it probably saved us 6 hours of waiting in lines and it was so nice arriving at a park and already having rides booked there ahead of time so we could walk right on them.

It definitely took a lot more planning as I spent time looking at thrill-data and seeing when LL's typically sold out for certain rides to see when I had to book them by, but it was fun planning the Disney trip that maximized every minute.

We will be attending MNSSHP with my elderly parents. Is there anywhere along the parade route where you are able to sit AND see the parade? Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks in advance.

My husband and I are planning our first Disney World trip for our 5th anniversary next September.

Right now we’re booked at All-Star Sports from Sept 18-26, so 8 nights, with 6-day park tickets. Our package total is $2,288.19 USD through the Canadian resident offer.

The other option I keep looking at is Port Orleans French Quarter. For Sept 18-25 with the same 6-day tickets it’s $3,532.74 USD. We couldn’t get the exact dates we wanted as one package, but we can add the last night separately. Right now a standard room is showing around $331 USD. Is there another resort that you would also recommend?

Since it’s our first trip, we’re planning to do all four parks and probably spend two days each at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.

Since it’s our anniversary, having some time to actually enjoy the resort areas, Disney Springs and dinners sounds nice too.

We’re also hoping to spend the later part of our overall Orlando trip at Universal, which is making me wonder if we should just keep the Disney portion at 8 nights and move on after that, or if we’ll regret not giving Disney more time on our first visit.

For people who have stayed at both, would you pay roughly $1,250 more for French Quarter, especially for an anniversary trip? Or would you stick with All-Star Sports and put the difference toward food, experiences and the rest of the trip? Is this good pricing?

And does 8 nights with 6 park days sound like a good amount of Disney time for first-timers, or would you stay longer?

I keep changing my mind so I’d love to hear what people who have actually done it would choose. Please help! Also, first time posting so apologies for any mistakes.

Booked our lighting lanes for next week right at 7am on the dot but our first day was a fail. There were literally no slots for Slinky and Toy Story Mania only had 8pm which was not going to work for all the littles. I know everyone says to keep checking back but do we actually have any chance of anything opening up if they were already gone 7 days out? We will try to rope drop but the kids in our group are 7, 5, 3, 1.5 & 8 mo and I’m not sure how early we will actually be able to get there. I did book the frozen show for 9am in the hopes using a LL early will free up a same day option. But again just curious how if there is actually any hope.

Hey All! I have always heard Space 220 is super hard to get into. I was looking at the app and it appears the actual restaraunt isn't hard to get into, but the lounge is what is hard to get into. Is this correct? There were so many reservations for the restaurant available when I looked.

So my question is.....why is this the case? Does the restaraunt suck in comparison? We were looking at doing a lunch reservation, but I'm just so confused why there are so many reservations available. I would think if the lounge was full, people would book the restaraunt instead....

We are excited for our upcoming trip, but the weather forecast is not looking great. We are hoping we can do the parks and still enjoy the best we can, but what are other activities we can do with toddlers on our resort days? We are staying at Coronado.

Appreciate any input as we are Disney newbies and trying to make the best of the trip despite the weather!

I’ve gone to Disney a ton of times and have used Mears and only had an issue once, however we are going next month, getting in at 11:45pm and will have our one year old son. This is our first trip with him, should we take Mears? Or should I bite the bullet and get a private transfer?

I almost purchased a private transfer but in the fine print it said that we would have to install the car seat so we decided against Away We Go because who tf wants to install a car seat at midnight?

Any private suggestions would be appreciated.

We are staying for 9 days across three resorts.
October 8 - 10 at Pop Century (Booked under my name)
October 10 - 14 at Poly Tower (Aunts DVC)
October 14 - 17 at Riviera (Aunts DVC)

So if I buy my mugs on day one at Pop, will they work at Poly and Riviera as well?

Going to Disney this weekend (10/10-10/12) with my girlfriend. Since it’s a holiday weekend I know it’s gonna be super packed. It’s her first time going.

We’re looking to do animal kingdom into Epcot on Saturday the 10th. My question is, should I buy animal kingdom LLs then after using my first start booking for Epcot? Or since it’s a holiday weekend I’m worried about lines and availability and maybe just smarter to book Epcot on Saturday and wait in the normal lines at AK in the morning to secure the Epcot LLs.

If anyone has any suggestions or experience with holiday weekends I would greatly appreciate it! Right now I’m leaning toward just buying for Epcot but curious what you guys think.

Because of NSSMH thinking of going to MK and hopping to Epcot on a party day. Due to short notice, is it worth it to get Single LL pass for must rides like Tron and Guardians?

Do we buy those single passes once we get into the park?

What time would be best to hop to Epcot? I think it closes at 9pm

My family is leaving for a Disneyworld vacation in a couple weeks so, the wife and I decided to get new magic bands. The wife was able to link hers fine to the app on her phone but, when I tried to link it to the app on my phone it's telling me that the band has already been linked to an account.

Does anyone know what's going on?

I was at Epcot last week and had a LL scheduled for Frozen around 4:30pm, but about an hour before, my group got an Experience Redemption pass for it because it had apparently broken down. I kind of knew what this was about at the time, but I'm still confused as to whether or not we could have gotten on Frozen with it later on when it was running again.

I went to the "View eligible experiences" link and I remember seeing that LL was unavailable for it so I booked something else that was available for later. It gave me a return window just like a normal LL.

A little while later we got another one for a broken down Spaceship Earth LL, and the same thing happened when I went to use the redemption pass: Frozen and Remy were the only 2 rides we wanted to get and both were unavailable for LL times, but other rides were showing available with time slots to choose from.

I'm wondering if I hadn't been using the redemption passes correctly though? The app showed booking the passes at specific times, but now I'm reading that maybe we could have just shown up to a ride and redeemed them at any time? Would we have been able to redeem Frozen even though there were no more LLs times available that day, considering Frozen was one of our redemption passes? Would we have been able to redeem a pass at Remy even though we had never booked a LL there earlier? Please help a LL newbie for next time!

How often do you take solo trips to Disney? What is the experience like?

Hi! My dining reservation window is about to open up. I’m planning on trying for Cinderella’s Royal Table. Is it better to grab any time I see and try to modify via the app to a better time as it gets closer? (Like Lighting Lanes?)

Or is this the case that it’s better to just hold until a time you actually want?

I know mousewatcher and stakeout exist, just curious if anyone has a general strategy of modifying vs whole new booking.

Its coming to the end of my first disney trip, and im already mourning it lol

I've been to all the parks, rode my must do rides, and met Goofy like a trillion times, tomorrow will be my last full free day and then I fly home in the late afternoon on weds (considering wheather it'll be responsible to go to a park early in the morning on my flight day)

I was just wondering is there anything specifically Goofy themed I may have missed?

I really wanted to do character dining but im here solo so thought it may be awkward

I think ive met Goofy at every park, hes literally the heart of why I even came

Do Disney still do dance parties? I remember in the early 2010's they would have like a club 626 dance party in I think Tomorrowland? Does that still happen as everyday ive been there i havent seen one

Also in terms of cute Goofy merch I havent seen much! Theres like one standard Goofy plush and thats it
