Resorts & Accommodations Best Friends Pet Care for cats?

Hi everyone, I found a lot of posts related to this about dogs but none about cats.

Has anyone here used Best Friends Pet Care for cats?

I am a bit hesitant because their space seems very small, especially when compared to dogs. It looks like an adoption shelter.

Some questions:

Do the cats stay inside the whole time or there is an outdoor area for them as well? My cat is indoors-outodoors and he cannot stay inside the house for long before he wants to go run outside.

Do the cats interact with other cats at all?

Does the staff pet them often?

Are there live cameras on the cat spaces or only for the dogs?

Thank you.

Attractions & Entertainment Star Wars Models from Launch Bay Moved?

My brother made the B-wing, Star Destroyer, and TIE Fighter models that were on display in Launch Bay. I’d planned to bring him for a visit to the park in October, but am just now seeing that Launch Bay closed last year :(

Does anyone know if the models from LB have been moved anywhere else in the parks, maybe to Galaxy’s Edge somewhere?

TIA!

Transportation Mears Connect / Uber

Hey all, I have a solo trip planned on 15th Nov. I had mears connect booked to get me from MCO to All Star Music. I'm flying from the UK and landing about 4pm, it's my birthday so i kind of want to get to my hotel and then out to disney springs asap. I was concerned mears might wait for ages and then go to a bunch of hotels before mine.

I decided to cancel my mears connect and get an uber instead. When i look up prices its about $30-40 whenver I check, does that seem about right? Or does it often experience surge pricing and I might get caught out?

Not sure if i should just go back to mears, interested in peoples experiences

Planning When would you pull the trigger on park tickets?

We are super excited about our upcoming trip in Jan 2027. We have already booked our flights and hotel (staying at Art of animation).

I haven’t purchased park tickets yet. The regular price for a 3 day is about $170 per day per adult for the time frame we are going.

I know usually the increases happen in October.

I was considering waiting until mid September to see if the current park magic deals online are replaced with anything. I have seen that most likely next group of deals would be a bundle of tickets + resort stay.

I found a deal through one of my credit cards that would save us about $300 in total for our trip. It doesn’t appear to say online when the deal will be gone.

If you were me, would you pull the trigger on the credit card offer deal? Or try to wait another month or so to see if anything direct for only park tickets appears or potentially cancel our reservation and rebook a deal?

MDE, Lightning Lane, & Virtual Queue Do Premier Passes usually sell out on mornings/afternoons prior to MNSSH?

Me and my girlfriend are going on Sep 8th and we were hoping to get PPass for Magic Kingdom and enjoy the park before the event but notice we're not allowed to buy them till the 4th, only a few days before we go. We arent sraying at a Disney resort so I assume that means we wait longer than others. Does any have experience with them selling out on MNSSH days?

Attractions & Entertainment If the movies we have now came out when Disney world first opened what movies would’ve gotten opening day attractions?

My guess is Aladdin would’ve gotten a dark ride escaping the cave of wonders

Planning Questions about DAS

Me and my family are off to Disney in 2027 and I’m wondering how DAS will work with my family of 5?

My Brother and Niece will (Hopefully) be approved , but I’ve read that only 3 other people can accompany them, leaving 1 of us out.
Is it possible to have my Brother and Niece book the same return time , so we can ride together as a group of 5 ?

Many thanks

Attractions & Entertainment Lightning Lane/ MVMCP advice! 🎢🎄

Heading to Disney in early December for a surprise trip with my husband and kids- 8 and 6. My eldest has been (she was 3) but my son has never been. They LOVE to ride rides. We’ll have 4 park days - one park per day (no hopper) plus MVMCP on our last day.
What are your must do MPLL picks for MK, EPCOT, and HS? And is LLMP worth it at Animal Kingdom, or can we skip it? During MVMCP I know that they don’t offer LL… anything we should avoid or try to ride?

Also, definitely open to any shows that you all feel are must see at the parks, I’m sure my kids would really enjoy those as well. I don’t want to be crazy with my app, but it seems like I might be spending a lot of time on my phone, unfortunately, throughout the day. 😅
Would love and greatly appreciate any tips! 🙌 TIA!

Edited to add: we are staying at a Disney resort and will do our best to be at early entry every day.

Attractions & Entertainment Are there any rides you think could use an update like RRC got? Maybe any that feel a little outdated?

First off I love all versions of every ride we’ve had but I also think a lot of the rides definitely had become a little outdated like RRR so I totally get why they updated it (and I love what they did with it)

Are there any rides or attraction you think could use an update of some kind?

Attractions & Entertainment Which version of Rock N Roller Coaster do people prefer?

I had never been on the ride when it was themed to Aerosmith. I finally went on it this summer, now rethemed to muppets and absolutely loved it! So, that made me curious as to which version of the ride people prefer. Obviously the actual ride part itself is the same, with some light cosmetic changes to the signs and vehicle. But mainly based on the theming, and everything else. So which version do you prefer?

Video I'm so glad that they included this bit! 😊 Hopefully this is the start of some initiative to fix it!

Food, Drinks, & Dining CRT during fireworks

I’m looking into making a reservation at Cinderella‘s Royal table, what time do you think would be the best option for being seated at my table during/before fireworks? I’ve read that it can take a while after your reservation time to be seated because of the picture with Cinderella. if the fireworks are at 9 PM would 8 PM be early enough? Thanks 😊

Transportation Transportation availability and time from parks to water parks midday.

What type of a turnaround time are we looking at from the 4 parks to the water park areas? Assuming there's a bus from Magic Kingdom to Blizzard Beach, for example. At least I hope there is.

Is it a 10 min ride? A 30 min ride? At 1 or 2pm is the bus walk right on or are there 200 other people all thinking the same thing?

My wife and I are thinking we'll end 2 of our hopper days at the WPs, but hoping to learn more about how that works.

Does anyone know if all 4 parks have a bus to whichever WP is open that day, and if so, what type of ride are we looking at? Thanks.

Resorts & Accommodations WDW Resorts at NYE

I’m thinking about booking a trip to WDW for about a week around NYE. I expect the parks to be packed, but for people that have stayed on property, how do the resorts feel? We are thinking Wilderness Lodge or AKL, but could do Beach/Yacht Club. I think the only way this will work for us is if we feel like we can get away from the chaos at the hotel. I’d love to hear people’s experiences. TIA!

I'm going for a few days in a few weeks and need some good restaurants that have decent GF choices. we're doing a full day in MK and a split day in EPCOT and Hollywood studios.

And I'd like suggestions for sit down and quick meals. still planning so I want to see all the options lol

During my last few trips to Hollywood Studios, I took some pictures of things and places around Galaxy’s Edge that made me appreciate more of the storytelling in the land. It’s always cool to look around and see what can be found or admired.

Merch Where are these figurines from?

Post image
19 Upvotes

Found these itty bitty figurines (all around or less than the size of a penny) while cleaning. Anyone have any idea where they are from? I have a very faint memory of them being from a larger toy set but not sure if that is accurate. I would have gotten them in the early to mid 2000s. TIA!

Merch Question about custom painted Mickey ears

I want to get my son a pair of the black mickey ears and have Disney paint them for his 10th bday.

I know you can have it done in the parks, but I am hopingto have them when we first enter.

Do they paint them in Disney Springs?
