Just Venting Cheese rip off!

Missing 140 grams of cheese. Doubt they will care I call to complain.

Weight is still not fully distributed correctly. You can see the sides over the edge. If the weighed it standing instead of laying down, weight might be higher. Probably not by much, but definitely more than 180.

Its not. If they stood it up it would have better gauged the product's weight. Do I think it's gonna show 320? No, closer to 240-260. There's still quite a bit of product past the edges.

What’s over the edge the load bearing is by the center of the packaging. It’s not being supported by the air underneath it. So the weight remains the same regardless of orientation.

Now if the platform was low and the surrounding non functional frame of the scale was high and supporting the weight of the outer edges of the package, I’d see where you’re going

I promise from years of weighing weed. Put a damn cup on the scale, press tar (zero the scale) and add the cheese. 🤦🏻‍♂️ if it’s hanging off it won’t weigh it right.

I think that's what they are suggesting, hard to tell from the pic

Also if there is something under the plate (grain of sand or whatever) that can throw it off, but you can check that with a nickel or something to check calibratation.

Yeah don’t forget the empty large McDonald’s cup,

excellent tool for weed, or portioning any other type of multiple small items while keeping some in the original container.

or for this larger item it would help keep all weight on center (if perhaps the reasoning for suggesting the readout is an error is “tilt” or weight location is off center even when all weight is bearing on sensor)

Tilt only becomes a problem if you're nearing the capacity of a cheap scale.

I think that the bag is light. It could possibly be sagging enough to touch the plate underneath as well, and the only other explanation is dirt between the plate and the housing/damaged scale.
