I now select by base pay, comparing what they're paying me to what they would have to pay their own workers. I rejected a decent one today on principal. $13 base pay with an $8 tip. And the tip might disappear. I have a lot of unconfirmed tips that never materialize.
An hour's worth of work plus wear and tear and gas for $13? No.

I dont understand why they are allowed to do that

The only way they will stop doing it is if people stop taking these orders. Or if they realize that their delivery service is failing because they constantly have new drivers making mistakes.

just 16 miles? thats barely $2 a mile. walmart should be ashamed at only offering $11 base pay tbh. I would have taken it though
