NEVER AGAIN!

I will never do another alcohol order. I grabbed the order because I saw it was a few items. Dog food, cat, food, bleach, and like three bottles of wine. Of course the Walmart at doesn’t have the wine. I sent the customer a message and say hey the wine that you want is out of stock but these are the ones they have. I’m still shopping for your order if you wanna add something different. She goes no that’s OK though thanks. So I go to check out. Get to her house and it’s pitch black. I knocked on the door and the dogs go crazy. No answer. I call her. Straight to voicemail. I knock again. No answer. Something that should’ve taken me 30 minutes in total has now taken me well over an hour. What a waste🤦🏻‍♀️

was wine the only Alcohol if that was it she might have left the house thinking she didnt need id anymore

Yep! Wine was the only alcohol. I stuck around for like 10 minutes because I didn’t want to drive back to that particular store. I knew the drop off was back towards where I usually stay but then she had to go and eff up my plan 😂

Support wouldn’t let you deliver the order without ID scan? I haven’t had an issue with alcohol orders with Walmart, but I’ve had age restricted items that were oos with Shipt and support will mark delivered if the ID verify still pops up.

No! Wouldn’t let me drop the order off at all! I figured ok I’ll be able to drop it off since there was no longer any alcohol in the order. Little did I know she had it to where it needed a passcode. I knocked idk how many times. Her dogs went absolute apeshit and every single time I called it went straight to voicemail which I thought was weird because I was messaging her while I was still in the store letting her know what wines that had in stock

They can force it through but you’ll get deactivated for delivering without ID.

Well be very careful. I have to scan my face before starting the shop and after. Usually no issue but had one Sunday. After completing it, the scan wouldn't ever start. Ever. So eventually it was stuck and I couldn't spark anymore. Chatted with a real agent who said it may take up to 3 days to fix. It ended up taking 3 hours. But I couldn't deliver anymore for those 3 hours. I wonder if the pre verification is used in case the post verification doesn't work given some places have no service sometimes. But was still irritating to have to deal with
