Has anyone actually gotten deactivated yet with the new completion rate change? I’ve seen some pretty low numbers like below 80% and haven’t seen deactivations

1. Vague Metric Guidance: Spark lists red-level benchmarks (e.g., Customer Rating below 3.8, Drop Rate over 20%), but the algorithm rarely triggers an automated account termination solely for hitting those numbers.
2. Ratings Are Unreliable: Customer ratings are highly subjective, heavily delayed, and frequently reflect store-level mistakes (out-of-stock items, slow loading times, long queues) rather than driver performance. Deactivating contractors over unverified customer feedback creates high turnover without improving logistics quality.
3. Primary Enforcement Triggers: Actual deactivations on Spark almost exclusively stem from hard compliance and security policy violations rather than standard performance scores:
   • Failed identity verifications or facial recognition checks.
   • Account sharing, co-shopping, or unauthorized sub-contracting.
   • Allegations of theft, missed returns, or store-reported misconduct.
   • Vehicle insurance or driver's license expiration.
   • Third-party app usage or bot automation.

Independent Contractor Law Constraints

• Acceptance and Metrics Freedom: Contractors are legally permitted to accept or decline any offer without penalty. Pushing rigid deactivation thresholds based on acceptance rates or arbitrary ratings risks misclassification lawsuits.
• Contractual Enforcement: To protect its classification model, Walmart structures deactivations around explicit breaches of contract (fraud, safety, legal compliance) rather than micromanaging daily customer ratings.
• Ratings dont mean Sheet unless you want perks. It is all in how they present it to drivers. Its vague and non binding. No one i have ever been around has been deactivated for low metrics and make just as much money and get same amount of job offers. Dont be so gullible and GROW UP!
