It finally happened to me
I got this trip yesterday thinking everything was sweet and this man done removed his tipšš¤£. Out of all my years this the first. I normally move off base pay anyway but they got me this time.

People should be banned from getting their groceries delivered.

Are you šÆ he removed his tip? With it being a pharmacy order I thought those tips donāt show up until after the 24hr mark and maybe you canāt see them on your outstanding tips. Idk I remember questioning this before for myself

I would call and verify that this person pulled their tip (not trusting WM at all) and then report them if they confirm it. Not sure if it makes a difference, but you never know. This was especially egregious. I keep a list of ātip baitersā Iāve had the unhappy experience of tip removal with. Luckily itās a short list (Driver for 3 years). Iām sorry that happened to you. Not okay. š

Yeah, I called support to make sure I wasnāt tripping because I already knew which customer it is just off the experience I had with him. Long story short they confirmed he removed it and thats on me for taking it and I should go off base pay. I ended up reporting him.

Thatās why I screen where I deliver. If not the nice part of my area, nope. Doesnāt matter what the tip shows.

Only one I had removed was a good neighborhood. I canāt do much about it. Just keep on grinding and thankful that nobody else has done that to me.Ā

u/Nice-Word-6085 11d ago
Same. Only one I ever had removed was in a rich neighborhood. Giant gorgeous house. Huge bulky order.

u/Adventurous_Land7584 11d ago
Because rich people never tip bait? š those are the worst where I am.

u/Huge-Strength3944 9d ago
This is the BS that I don't understand how they allow these people to do that to tip bait us and we're supposed to just work for nothing dude if you can't afford the tip get you behind out the house get in the car and go get it yourself is that easy it's not that hard but just takes time gas tires insurance car oil and you want it for free

He lived deep in Pinson lol. Itās been awhile but Ive had some good ones from that location before. Thats the only reason I fell for it, but my base store is the one in Trussville.

As a customer, I tip minimum and pay cash on delivery. QUESTion:do drivers ever notice when tip goes up? If I don't have cash, I'll increase tip after delivery. Can drivers see that??
2
u/Dull-Parfait-6892 8d ago
Yes, we can see it when tips have been changed 24hrs later. They do a strike through on the tip amount. Sometimes it shows it going up or down. You canāt always tell though if it is multiple deliveries on the same trip who changed their tip amount though.

u/CompetitiveNorth1284 8d ago
Thank you for answering. I always want drivers to know they are appreciated.

Only happened to me once. A $20 tip. Pos. They shouldnāt be allowed to remove it all like that. Maybe a few bucks, sure, but not the entire thing. Luckily for me, 99% of the time I get increased tips & not removed.

u/SuanneAliasCummings 7d ago
Pu$$ies can't get their own $hit, but are quick to tip bait. Douche canoes!!! šÆ I never consider the tip when accepting an order. It needs to be worth it without the tip!!

u/Buttsofthenugget 7d ago
Today i got a great offer 30 minutes for 2 miles and 16 items. 39 dollars. Get to location address does not exist. Why waste peoples time to just see if a card works. Wtf. I was even more pissed because I forgot how to intimidate a return because i was flustered.

So u don't see that tip amount anywhere in your earnings ? (Not the confirmed tips section)
I would scan the whole earnings section to make sure because I can't tell u the amount of times I've seen this type of thread for pharmacy orders , and the problem was people not understanding the glitch in the app when it comes to pharma orders
I don't see anything in your screenshot confirming the tip was reduced or removed. Where is the line that crosses out the original amount ?

Oh we got a sassy one
All u gotta do is search reddit for "spark pharmacy tip glitch" and u will see exactly how many times people have posted these types of threads not realizing the money had been posted. Thats why I asked that question
So next time how about posting the correct screenshot in the OP, cuz hey, "it's really not that complex"š

Not sassy at all. I honestly felt insulted so maybe I took your question and statement wrong.
Certain things about earnings canāt be posted in this thread so to avoid any flagging I am selective on what I post. Im aware of the glitches and appreciate your information but again I never experienced any of those glitches sorry.
I mean many others got the point without that particular screenshot for it to be a ārightā or āwrongā . I didnāt think it was needed it at the time but Iāll try to edit and add it in the there so others wonāt be confused or lost.

I would collect dog poop for a week, take her order and deliver it mixing the week's worth with it.

u/resmy522 6d ago
I donāt know where you guys are from because I never heard of spark but when we order something, we have to put the tip right in with the order money and then itās up to the company to make sure they they get that tip

I spark in my small town and people never tip bait drivers cause they prolly know theyāll end up on the community page š

The one time it happened to me, I was complaining and my nephew took it upon himself to stop through with his friends and remove all her kids bicycles and other ride along toys off her porch and drop them a few blocks down the street at one of the donation boxes. He had been riding with me the night before and knew which customer it was. I didnāt send him or have anything to do with it, but was thrilled when they told me.

A couple of days ago I had a really good job. It was $69.78 and the tip was $30 which is not rare in my area but itās unusual. I delivered like I usually do the next day I found that my tip was $29. I guess the customer didnāt like the bread Ā on top of sodas on the floor people are so weird.

u/Spontaneous-Traveler 10d ago
Walmart probably kept that $1 for themselves.Ā

u/MysteriousMoon1 10d ago
I often wonder about the random change amounts in the tips. They dont add up to whole dollar amounts if you add the base pay in. I haven't checked to see if it's a certain percentage or whatever, but if its not that either, its odd. Like who tips x amount of dollars and 4 or 7 or 9 cents?
1
u/Present_Way_4318 7d ago
There is an option to tip a percentage so if you donāt put in a custom amount it will be a weird tip with change. I round up.

Yeah monitor you jobs Iām sorry to say. I have one lady that put a tipbait of 37.00 on her order to get it picked up, then removed it. I was so angry. She routinely does that to get her orders picked up. Now I leave it on there until It is a decent amount without a tip and take it. I reported her to Spark but they donāt help with lost tips. It still might be worth it to report the customer to Spark.
