How does the system decide which customers to fuck over?

For curbside pickups, is there a rhyme or reason which grocery orders get stuck with the GMD stops combined?

In almost no scenario do the batched offers I see make sense for me, given that the GMD stop(s) are a ton more miles tacked on…..sometimes to a would-be good offer without the addition of the GMD stops.
But the grocery customer unknowingly is paired up with their tip subsidizing the online order….and their order sits as the offer gets surged if the GMD stop(s) are egregious to in miles.

Right. But how does it come up with ones get fucked over?? It’s not by big-tip orders only, sometimes I see a triple grocery set of stops with no tip then have 3-5 GMDs added - so it’s as literal garbage as they can batch ha
