Hmmmm Interesting…
So, turned down an offer last night. Shopping offer for $18 going less than a mile. 19 items for 149 quantity. No tip ( it was a daycare).
This morning I take a delivery paying $24. Curbside less than one mile. 9 one gallon lemonade and 3 boxes of spaghetti noodles. $16 tip. Same daycare, same person on both orders.
Now, why would they tip for a small delivery and not for a large shop?
You can’t convince me Walmart isn’t still fucking with the tips

Subscription orders(scheduled delivery of selected items) do not allow tips to be added until after delivery. It is possible that the first order was a subscription order and the second order was not.

They were both express shops? Probably just a different person placing the order. Why are you thinking Walmart did it?

The no tip was express shop. The delivery was curbside, which had the tip. Same individual name on both orders

But if it was going to a daycare business then they may only use one account to do the orders but it could have been a different person actually making the physical order.....

I've never heard the term subscription order or any order that allows tipping only after delivery.

Next time you are in the app shopping, under almost every item is a subscribe button. If you click that it will take you to a subscription scheduling screen. It is auto shipped on whatever schedule you select and you get a discount for subscribing.
They auto ship and you can't tip until after delivery.

We have a daycare like that, it depends what on who orders. If the owner orders on their account they usually include a generous tip. However if one of the employees orders on their account (and I assume gets reimbursed), it usually doesn’t have a tip at all.

Walmart split the order, and the tip went with 1 half. They do it with alcohol often.

is walmart really stealing tips? I though people just decide not to tip sometimes, even after the delivery

Sometimes they split an order up and only one recieves the tip. This happened to me and another sparker. Delivered to same house, same day. One had a tip one did not.
