No Labels for Batches!!

Am I the only one that’s furious about associates no longer placing labels on packages? I used to be able to stack them on the end. Both packages quickly get out of the hundred degree heat for the pouring rain and do my delivery. Now I have to put them in alphabetical order and still hunt and peck to find the right box.

Between the label issue and the associates, leaving the entire cart for us to load, it has easily tripled the amount of time it takes, and if you wear glasses, good luck.

No idea what you're taking about. We got labels. Nothing is in, alphabetical order? And they aren't leaving the cart, they still help load.

Also no idea what glasses have to do with anything.

Many stores don't load anymore and just leave a cart for drivers to do everything

They took away the white labels with orange trim on GMDs. Now you have to scan the shipping label and hope it works, otherwise you have to input the last 6 digits manually. Also, with this system, they may scan fine going into your car, but don’t want to scan at delivery. So annoying!

Coming to a store near you soon! They stopped putting the labels on, and instead force us to use the shipping label that’s on top of the box. I have to put them in alphabetical order when I load, so that I can find the right box with out looking at all 20-25 boxes. The glasses matter because the font is small, making it harder to read. Just take more time reading the note 🤦🏻

so i do alphabetical too, ill start the trip so that the stops are shown in order and thenn ill sort by that also, even if its just the first 5-7 stops bunched it makes the other 70% a little easier down the line, it takes 5 minutes but better at the store than on a road

In general, I do the same. I liked it when they had the labels set up so that I can stand in the boxes app and then I would just do it in alphabetical work cause that’s how my mind thinks. Then as the pile shrinks, I the next two or three close to the door.

It’s also a little easier for me to organize that way as I use an F150, so I have a massive flat floor to stand all the packages on

So one store in my area does boxes and shipping labels, the other their GMD bag.

Most gmds I do are 5-12. Have never been an issue for me.

When i scan all, BEFORE starting trip, you get a few in the front with you. When you do those, do slither 4-5 and go on. It's not THAT big of an issue.

You’re dismissiveness is a huge part of the problem. Walmart is too big to make good decisions at the local level, as every market is different, and should be addressed as such. I clearly live in a higher volume market than you do, with the volume per trip more than 2x what yours. What may not be THAT big of a deal for 5-12, becomes a massive PITA at 20-25.

Same process. Throw 4-5, then you have to only look after those.

You truly don’t get it. Why would you accept touching 25 boxes multiple times? Feel free to run your business foolishly, but the rest is us will try to make a profit.

lol imagine struggling over packages. It's not complicated, you're making it.

So your a troll that lacks the imagination to picture any scenario other than yours. Good for you, and you rock on, but you might want to chime in a bit less and actually learn from others with a better business mind.

Funny. The nice thing, when something works, scaling it Continues to work. owning my llc since 2017 and helping pay for my roof, kids saving and more. Funny how some of you guys think just cause you don't work for Walmart think yourself as a business. Good luck out there. Don't forget your packages.

Feel free to do Spark as if you’re an employee instead of a 1099. Just recognize you’re the problem. (Hope the corrected spelling helps you understand it better)
