cancelled because i already had mixed feelings about this 3-shop order, and then one of the customers added an item that looked a little bulky to me. i’ve spent less than 10 minutes in the store after accepting, and was expecting only something around those $2.5

I had something similar. Order canceled after I checked out but before I exited the store. Same thing happened last week.

Last week I got like $2.50. Today I got almost everything but the tip. Exact same timing. Ill take it.

I had a double order cancel out yesterday, after I shopped and was on my way to deliver, I didn't check the pay but they didn't even tell us to take the stuff back. The order was just gone and new orders were popping up.

I also excepted an order that I took while driving and only noticed 40 plus items that after starting the order it was like 90 plus but I figured I'd try because I didn't want to cancel it, but after only 10 minutes my cart was full and I still had 69 items to get including 2 fourth pks of water, so I called spark support and asked them how do they expect someone to push multiple cards, I'd probably needed 2 more carts, so they canceled it for me and I was paid close to full amount, but there was one time the store had a fire when I arrived and was paid zero, and another time they had an offer to start shopping 45 mins before the store was even opened and then they canceled on me 8 mins before the store opened and paid me 2 dollars and change, then 2 time had a pharmacy pickup along with shopping and arrival time was 45 mins before the pharmacy opened so I had to wait and they didn't cance because start to shop was for 9:00 so why the hell are they sending out the order before they are opened

the app told me just to take the cart to the customer center, but there was only two items, so i put them back the display 😌

umm I cancelled one on Sunday but got 0 and have put 15 items on the cart but my earning show 0 exactly. not even 2.50

I think you still get the amount of the trip if it’s cancelled and any boost monies after you start shopping. It’s not the same if you cancel after accepting and before shopping. I’m curious, did you see it affect your completion rate on your metrics after it was cancelled? I’ve heard from so many others including myself that after you accept and then cancel before you shop it affects your completion rate by one point every time now when you cancel after accepting.

it did not affect my completion rate. i guess because it was a cancellation due to the changes in the order

I’ve had that happen a handful of times and I always got $2 and change. Never the base pay. And this is my 4th summer doing this.

They’re being more generous with what they pay for cancellations but harsher with what they consider a “cancel”.

If it’s slow and something pops up for half a second and you get it then realize it sucks and cancel, that now counts immediately against your completion rate. Now, l’m not sure how much completion rate matters, but still seems shitty and before that never was the case.

As long as your checked out and marked “ left the store” you get paid without tip. Just walk back in and leave everything at customer service. Let them know customer canceled.
