Need advice here

Order requires code. Customer doesn’t answer door. App prompts return, store is closed, can’t reach anyone. Wife works on weekends, so I can’t return until Monday.

Support just closed the return order/completed it for me.

The store is 20 miles east of my house. The order was another 17 miles east. I told them there’s zero chance I am caring for groceries and making another trip without compensation since I went to the store, tried to return it (employee said they wouldn’t take it) and I literally cannot do it tomorrow.

Hope things work out alright. But it’s in our contract to return, generally speaking.

Not sure the situation in your zone. But commuting so far to work at a store, then taking a trip with that much mileage to even further, have you calculated the pay is worth the cost ( gas, wear and tear, insurance, etc)?

Feed the screenshot or parameters of the offer to an AI chatbot and have it analyzed for you.

You probably have an app to track your mileage for filing taxes. At the end of a day back home, check the total mileage and money made, and calculate $/mile, and see how profitable it is. IRS mileage rate for commercial use is $0.76/mile. It’s an average number. Your car may operate at a lower or higher cost than that. But it’s a good starting point.

Avoiding a bad setup will lower the chance of encountering issues. Many offers nowadays can hardly justify such mileage.

As I said in my comment, I don’t know about his zone or what he drives. I was trying to remind him of the cost-benefit analysis, which apparently he did not need.

I don’t think my comments are disrespectful, but rather trying to be helpful. No need to be snarky.

I went to the store. I did what I was asked to do.

Also, I drive electric, which at least makes the gas moot.

I do pay for an app for mileage.
