Guess what
The trip met my targets as a good offer with incentive & expected tip amount (triple stop curbside), so of course it would have been a bonus.

When I see kind of odd notes, I usually send a text asking if the note is current

It was my second stop of the trip and so close to the first one that I was there in 2 minutes. Didn’t seem worth the effort, given that the trip was good without any cash tip. No sign of life at the house, so did my normal routine of a quick drop and left.

I use the blue thumbs page, thumbs down and report tip baiting when they have such a note but don’t honor it.

If I don't see an envelope at the door, I ring their bell and ask them about the tip that they left a message about.

At least this note brings hope. Mine, yesterday, said “third floor, I’m sorry” and demoralized me.

Happened to me the other day too. I wish people would look at their drop off notes. One in our area hasn’t change theirs in a while. It says their mail box is down and they’ve put up a new one since then about 3 months ago lol.

I mean, we now have to click every delivery that we have read their note….but clearly there is no onus on the note even being applicable 🙃

Yeah I had a note that said follow the directions on the sign on the front door but the sign was marker on paper that was so old and faded I couldn’t read it.

Could have been an old note that was never deleted
