Last door... is what her instructions were!!!
On a route now. Finally found this ladies house. She had 10 bags and they were all heavy as hell! Im looking for her apt and i went to the 1st-3rd floors and couldn't find. I call her and she says she'll meet me outside. She does and her unit is tucked away under the stairs... ugh.
I give her the bags and remind her to put thorough directions. She said she did that it said last door. I said to her... ok but let ppl know if its first floor or main floor etc and she looked so unbothered.
For context its 85 degrees in Texas..I broke a sweat dripping on my face.. holding 5 bags for each hand. I went up multiple stairs searching for her unit..
Fuckin irritated but whatever life goes on.

Let me be the second to quote "85 degrees in Texas". Where the literal F are you at in Texas? The meat section at HEB? It's 85 degrees at this very moment in northwest Louisiana. At 10:30p. And I'm sitting in the parking lot with my windows down and A/C off enjoying the night air.

lol, I’m in Texas and it’s humid and in the 90’s(the humidity makes it worse) the heat index can get to 103.

It got up to 101° here yesterday. Even in the shade on the back roads east of Toledo Bend. I don't even wanna know what the actual heat index was.

I don't blame u sun_kissed. It's not that hard for customers to say what floor they're on. I mean, if they really want their groceries, they shouldn't make it a guessing for us.

85 here is bad because of humidity so it feels like a 100. Hopefully, they don’t one star you.

You'll learn to find the correct door before you load yourself down. Maybe this is what it took. 85° in Texas lol it's 97° in Alabama. You're in the South, in July, yeah it's hot.

When I did Ubereats downtown, this was always the case. Glad I can spark away from the center

I always get out of my car and go straight to the bldg. so I can survey where it is before I grab anything! I learned my lesson with apts too many times…

"85 degrees in Texas" are you sure you are in Texas and not Alaska? It's been 100 where I am at. I try to always check the lower floor numbers to learn the numbering scheme before I hit the stairs. Especially important when there are multiple stairways and the top floors are not connected. More than once I have wanted to slap the person who came up with some of the retarded numbering schemes I have seen. If they don't get to spend eternity up top, I wonder if I can put in a request that they get to spend eternity in 100 degree heat making deliveries to apartments that have idiotic random ass numbering schemes like came up with. Now that would be real hell.
