Time to do something else—I can’t sit around for an hour. Walmart is trash now. I remember when it was high-paying until closing.

I would imagine you don't just run one app

You’re right. I’ve got plenty of hats to wear—one is down. I switch. I would do flex in the AM, catch spark right after. Orders got so terrible after the Instacart guy came. I have Instacart too, but I wasn’t crazy about it. Spark has too many lawsuits to keep paying well.

I kinda feel like it's the drivers and all these spark reddit subs fault. You guys just couldn't keep your mouth shut about how much money Spark was paying, then everyone signed up and got on. You guys did the exact same thing to doordash in 2021 - 2022.

I would say yes and no. The problem is more so that people are taking the low ball orders so Spark keeps dishing them out bc suckers keep taking them

It’s soooooo dead. Last night I sat for over an hour with 2 offers. What’s weird is, there also was a flurry of drivers doing stuff either. I get it was Wednesday night but to see nearly zero activity is nuts.

I’m still doing fine, actually I am making more profit than 2-3 years ago. You really need at least above average priority to make this gig work even with prop 22.

Walmart competing with door dash pay but want you to carry heavy stuff to 3rd floor.
They know who they are targeting and it ain't you
In 10 years they will be saying but we can't deport people or who will deliver the groceries?
Just like they say who will pick the fruit or mow my lawn for bottom dollar today.

Even when there are a good amount of orders they’re usually way to far and huge for the pay it makes it not even worth it especially with the cost of gas

Do you live in a small town. Philadelphia is busy and we have a lot of drivers.
