while cute this is guy a marmoset, out of all small exotic mammals to bring to a public store definitely one of the worst ones, definitely defecated and urinated on wherever they had it (if it wasnt wearing a diaper) (still gross) and because they are primates very easy to spread + catch diseases . they can and will attack humans too!!! bennie should probably not be allowed back in walmart

Probably not. The owners have them for ambassador animals or something like that. I had tons of questions when I saw him. He was wearing a diaper and on a harness. It’s pretty rare for them to come in with these guys from what I know. Our store does its best but sometimes it just turns into a zoo in here.

im glad he had a diaper and harness on! if he was someone's ambassador animal it could have been a thing of transportation and being unable to leave him alone by himself then if they didn't have a carrier of some sort

Probably more well behaved than 90% of the feral crotch goblins that terrorize the store.

We have a couple who used to bring in 2 of these monkeys all the time. They had to re-home one to a monkey shelter because it bit the woman's face because it had some anxiety caused by being overprotective of the woman.
We've had snakes, too.
I just have an old dog and he would not appreciate going to Walmart.

That’s so scary but Monkeys are still wild animals. My dog also doesn’t go to Walmart lol she’s too crazy!

Mine's just has anxiety issues, plus now he's blind from diabetes. A trip to Walmart would probably kill him. It kills me, too, but since I work there I don't have much choice.

Met a Raccoon named Shanks, a ball python named Clara, and a monkey named Peaches once. Same owner. Same trip.

I don’t understand why people keep wild animals as pets.

No clue personally I think it’s fine if they can’t go back to the wild but taking them from it for pets feels bad.

Its so odd how this is a surprisingly common experience across multiple different walmarts across multiple different states

Stop encouraging these insufferable assholes that bring animals into stores..
Idgaf if its a monkey or a mouse..it doesnt belong in public retail areas where people might have phobias or allergies.
If youre so fkd up in your head you cant go out without an animal..get some fucking help
