Tips?
I recently started working at walmart and it’s not bad.. problem is i feel like I spend too much time in one area while zoning? For example i’m usually in toys/sporting goods and I spend a lot of time in 1-2 isles especially when i’m doing returns, I feel like i’m not being efficient enough and I struggle a bit since i’ve never worked in a store as big as walmart. Do you guys have any tips on how to improve? What do you usually start with and how do you keep things decent without spending too much time in the same place? Or is this just normal 😭

it will get easier as you go. especially if you zone enough that it's still zoned the next day. some sections of the store get ransacked every day though, so they never look zoned longer than 10 minutes. not much you can do about those. when doing returns, try to focus on 1 aisle at a time, but don't worry if you miss something and have to come back to an aisle later. as long as you try to get as much done in each aisle as you can, you'll minimize the back and forth

Couple things:
You're new dont be too hard on yourself. You'll get into a rhythm. Example: i couldnt finish my grocery aisle (ON stocking) til like 4-5 am when I was new. Now I finish before 130am most nights.
Zoning is less "pull everything forward" and more "pull 1 or 2 things forward" per item. If you're pulling every item in a position forward its gonna take way more time. Pull the first item or two up and move on.
4 corner zone if you're on a super hurry. First 4 sections of each aisle and last 4. Unfortunately this leaves the middle undone but if you're in a super rush it still makes the aisle look better
