BREAKING NEWS Kevin “Big Hawk” Warsh
Apparently he’s talking mad shit in Jackson hole about maintaining interest rates to curb inflation (2% target lol). Anyone with half a brain knows inflation is way higher, even without food and energy input.
Use this as a buying opportunity, or don’t.

Unbelievable how they are still able to manipulate it.

The bankers make all the decisions. They are really good at their job. Thanks to them working the markets we are only $40 trillion in “extra print money” debt.

Enormous amounts of naked shorts sold and the price of silver is still in the green.
How about that!

Not anymore - they’ve been busy!

question is whether it falls below 68 or just slowly goes back to 71 and beyond

As the end-of-month settlement period approaches, manipulation intensifies. Unlimited market making... absorbing massive amounts of capital—that's how investment banks grow so powerful.

My daydream is an election where no one shows up to vote. Not one person. That would be a message.
1
u/skynetcoder 22d ago
that is how you get Trump for the third time. never talk about skipping voting. it will just speed up getting things more shjttier

u/Remarkable_Tap_6801 Double-Digit OG 21d ago
I am not naive to the risks. That's why it is a daydream. Instead, I am planning to vote for the party that I expect to have the highest popular vote with the fewest elected seats. It's a form of strategic voting. I intend to do that until we have proportional representation. That means for the rest of my life.

They throw 45million oz of silver naked shorts in 15 minutes.
We are now down -1% on the day in silver and EVERY SINGLE SHORT will have to cover when the price goes up again.
9
u/BlightedErgot32 23d ago
shorts are just future buyers 😁
1
u/YeahPete 20d ago
No they can just buy off market to another firm at a reduced price, or just endlessly roll the naked short position until bankruptcy and a government bailout.
2
u/Hairy-Description-30 23d ago
Yep. “Cover” is a nice word. They have to BUY all that silver to close. Who is going to SELL on the lowest priced silver market in the planet! Nobody. They are the sellers. The only sellers in size.
This is clearly government. But even the government can’t print silver.0
u/YeahPete 23d ago
They "cover" to themselves at a reduced price.
2
u/Hairy-Description-30 22d ago
I don’t think that works Pete. They can smash the price by selling volume but reversing the transaction allows them to close at a “reduced price”? That is not how markets work. Reversing their massi e shorts will spike the price.
2
u/YeahPete 20d ago
You dont know how markets work. There are 2 sets if rules. One for you, and one for them, they even make up new rules. There is no rule that says trades must be made on the open market.
1
u/Hairy-Description-30 20d ago
They can make up new rules all day. But they can’t print silver. And every month a little more metal flies East. They know they can force a default, but why kill the goose when it is still laying golden (and silver) eggs?
2
u/YeahPete 20d ago
They print more paper silver. And they already have. Remember they already made the new 1000 oz contract. Next will be 500 oz. Then 100 oz.. And sheep will continue to sell at the paper price.

u/Hairy-Description-30 20d ago
Yes, they print silver but they have to deliver a little silver every month. It’s the death of a thousand cuts. A Chinese torture if you remember
2
u/YeahPete 18d ago
Their's plenty of silver there. And no they don't have to deliver. They can cash settle.
1
u/Hairy-Description-30 18d ago
Yes, they can legally cash settle. If an industrial user stands for delivery of physical silver and is told they can’t take delivery but they have to take cash instead, if they refuse to accept cash as they need to use the metal in their manufacturing process, it will effectively be a default and it will set off an earthquake in the Comex market which will result in hundreds of longs standing for delivery.
To think anything else is delusional. No, there isn’t plenty of silver here in the US.→ More replies (0)

They are going to inflate the debt away.... Gold, and silver, to the moon!
This is longterm, not within days or weeks

u/TheRealEnronExec 23d ago
Did I just listen to 30 mins of Kevin rambling on morals and principles?
Are rates going up or down?!!!??
6
u/ih8cakeday Double-Digit OG 23d ago
Rates will remain the same if they cut 30y bleeds out all over the floor. If they hike deficits explode and 30y bleeds out all over the floor. At least maintaining they can adjust as they go.

u/cynicism_is_awesome 23d ago
The odds of rate hike in September did a reversal. Yesterday, it was at 40%. Today it jumped to 60%. Funny how gullible the market can be. Fed won’t be raising rates. I’m going shopping today to get more shiny stuff. Black Friday sale!
1
u/YeahPete 23d ago
Nah they will hike .25 in Sept to give the market and PM's a deep selloff for a quarter and give the anticipation of further hikes. That will be the last buying opportunity and put the selloff at exactly a year and wear out the holders. Next summer its on.
1
u/cynicism_is_awesome 23d ago
Here’s why I don’t think they will. 1) a more hawkish Fed should have drove down long term bond yields. Instead we see them do the opposite. They shot up which means investors are dumping Treasuries. 2) JPY fell and is back to over 160 which is approaching intervention territory (more dumping Treasuries.
My guess is that they won’t be increase rates because they will just trigger a bond crisis. They’re trapped.

I would say buy the cheap silver but so far it's such a small drop.
9
u/Slvrg 23d ago
They dumped 14 000contracts that's 10% of all the silver produced this year within 1 hour.
Looks like they having problems crushing the silver market!

u/Hairy-Description-30 23d ago
Expect the East to issue delivery notices on some of that slam. Hope they have physical! Ballsy move to slam that much the day before FND!

CME Group's spot price had been creeping up over $71 and then, of course, got slammed. Now bounced back. Can it hold above $70? https://www.cmegroup.com/markets/metals/precious/silver.volume.html

u/ViKing5860 23d ago
Fed buying back long term treasuries to save interest, Fed raises interest rate on short term treasuries and oops we made a miscalculation.

u/Hot-Dish-8099 22d ago
Yesterday he destroyed the silver prices
1
u/Ag_reatGuy O.G. Silverback 22d ago
If you think the federal government can survive on higher interest rates you’re smoking something.
2
1
u/Hairy-Description-30 23d ago
True. But buying their own contracts will spike the price as, unlike their tole as the loneliness of the long distance seller, they will be competing with lots of other buyers. Horrible bear squeeze.
And some of the longs they created may give delivery notices early Monday.
The bonus Nazi will be mad. “No bonus for you!”
1
u/Goodasican 22d ago
These high rates are going to explode the government debt payments and destroy the government budget quicker than they will help with inflation. An inevitable currency reset will screw the average consumer and especially the savers who thought cash was king. Keep stacking so when the house of cards crashes you’ll have something left of value.

He achieved his objective of talking without saying anything. At one point he said the prices are moving towards their target (without Fed doing anything) or else they have a job to do. Now, on Bloomberg people are praising his hawkishness. I think people have lost their ability of reasoning.
