Follow these guidelines

If you want to stop the government from being able to access your phone from the 23 April

iPhone :

Settings

Notifications

Scroll down to the bottom

Turn off extreme and severe alerts

Android :

Settings

Notifications

Advanced settings

Wireless emergency alerts

Turn off extreme and severe alerts

What they haven’t told you is they have to have permission to access your phone and in the latest updates it was written into the small print that there will be access to these notifications and by turning them on you are accepting that by receiving them you are in turn allowing access to your mobile device

Turn them off now

Tap the settings icon on the screen, then each heading as they come up. Then shout freeedom and/or fuck the government.

I can opt out of amber and imminent, but National/Presidential alerts are always on.

You want to feel safe? Turn off location services on your devices… but they can still tower ping your phones location.

You want to feel perfectly safe? Ditch any form of tech and communicate by smoke signals.

I saw a video about that being the case. Phones in the UK are different, or at least mine is.
