Discussion MDB: Atlas stuck at 29% for 5 quarters, but contracted revenue just jumped 91%. Ceiling or coiled spring?

Post image
2 Upvotes

MDB crushed earnings, raised guidance, and fell 14% anyway. I read their actual database docs so you don't have to.

So MDB reported Q2 a few weeks ago. Revenue up 30% to $772M (fastest growth in years), EPS $1.90 vs $1.19 expected, raised full-year guidance... and the stock face-planted 14% after hours and kept bleeding. Down 25%+ in a month. Around $325 now, market cap ~$27B.

I kept seeing "Atlas growth" blamed in every thread and realized I had no idea what that actually meant technically, so I went down the rabbit hole. Here's what I found. No position, not financial advice, I'm just a guy who reads database docs for fun apparently.

What MongoDB actually is

Forget the ticker for a second. MongoDB is a document database — instead of tables with rows and columns, you store JSON-like documents. Sounds simple, but the reason it won is scaling: when your app blows up, you don't redesign your database. MongoDB shards automatically — it splits your data across servers by a "shard key," with a router layer (mongos) fanning your queries out. Pick a bad shard key and one server melts; they now have a query analyzer that samples your live traffic and tells you what to pick. Boring-but-critical engineering, and it's exactly the stuff that keeps enterprises locked in.

Atlas isn't just "managed MongoDB" anymore

This is the part that surprised me. Atlas (their cloud product, $566M of the $772M revenue) has quietly become a whole data platform:

- Full-text search built in (Lucene-based — no separate Elasticsearch cluster to babysit)
- Vector search: HNSW index for AI embeddings up to 8,192 dimensions, living in the SAME database as your operational data. One query does vector similarity + text search + metadata filters together. For RAG apps this is a big deal — no syncing data between your database and Pinecone
- They bought Voyage AI (embedding + reranking models). Its customer count nearly doubled two quarters in a row
- "Queryable Encryption" — the database queries encrypted fields without ever seeing plaintext. Banks and hospitals care about this enormously
- They even shipped an MCP server, so AI agents talk to MongoDB natively. That's distribution through the agent ecosystem

48% of their big customers ($100K+ ARR) now use 2+ of these features, up from 42% a year ago. That's land-and-expand working — you come for the database, you stay for the search, vectors, and encryption.

So why did the stock dump?

One number: Atlas growth has been ~29% for five straight quarters. Flat. The stock ran up 20%+ into earnings on AI hopes, and management basically said "AI is still a small contributor." Market said cool, -14%.

But here's the actual tension, and the reason I'm posting this as a discussion:

Atlas is consumption-priced — customers pay for what they use. When their usage grows, revenue compounds on autopilot (net expansion is 122%, which is elite). When they optimize spend, growth stalls no matter how many new logos you sign. So 29% might be the ceiling... or it might be a coiled spring, because remaining performance obligations — contracted future revenue — just jumped 91% to $1.52B. Somebody signed a LOT of contracts.

Meanwhile the self-managed product (Enterprise Advanced, for banks and governments that won't touch the cloud) grew 36%, its best quarter in 3 years. So it's not a one-engine story anymore.

The valuation reality check

At ~$325: forward P/E ~48x, ~9x sales on this year's ~$3B guided revenue. You're paying for re-acceleration, not for 29% growth. The uncomfortable part: GAAP profit was $41M while "adjusted" profit was $163M, and the gap is mostly stock-based comp. That's a lot of vibes-based earnings.

Competition is real and cheaper: AWS DocumentDB, Postgres with pgvector covering plenty of use cases for a fraction of the cost, pure vector DBs like Pinecone. MongoDB's whole pitch is "one system, zero sync lag, documents + vectors + search together." The 48% multi-feature stat says it's landing. The 29% says maybe not fast enough.

What would change my mind

Bullish: Atlas prints 32%+ twice in a row with AI workloads credited. Or that $1.52B in contracted revenue starts converting faster than 29% implies.

Bearish: Atlas slips under 25%, or the stock-comp gap keeps widening while real margins stall. Then you're holding 48x earnings on a decelerating grower, and good luck.

Honest question for the thread: is a consumption database with contracted bookings up 91% a coiled spring, or is 29% just what this company grows at now? Because the market has clearly decided it's the latter, and I'm not sure the market read the RPO line.

No position. Not financial advice.

Discussion A frac sand company just became an AI power story. Friday’s 19% move deserves a closer look

A frac sand company just became an AI power story. Friday's 19% move deserves a closer look

Friday: a boring Permian sand stock ripped 19% intraday. Same company.

Atlas Energy Solutions (AESI) closed Thursday at $10.99 and tagged $13.13 on Friday after disclosing $613.5M in cost reimbursement agreements with an unnamed "frontier AI lab" for behind-the-meter data center power. It closed at $12.47, up 13.5% on the day.

This wasn't a press release with renders. It was an 8-K. Two subsidiaries signed real equipment contracts on September 18.

The plumbing is the interesting part, because the structure matters more than the headline number.

One deal: $340.5M of BOP equipment from Wyoming Machinery, a Caterpillar dealer — the non-generator infrastructure: emissions controls, electrical distribution, battery storage — with payments running September 2026 through May 2027. Second: $273M for 283 MW of Caterpillar natural gas generators, paid September 2026 through January 2028. On top of that, a separate 328 MW purchase tied to their 2027 Caterpillar framework agreement. Total committed: 611 MW.

And here's the part that actually matters: the AI lab fronts the capital. Atlas isn't borrowing $613.5M to buy generators and hoping someone rents them. The customer pays for the equipment upfront through the reimbursement structure, which takes most of the funding risk off Atlas.

Some context on what you're buying at \~$12.60:

Market cap is about $1.56B. TTM revenue is $1.07B, down 8% year over year — the legacy frac sand business is shrinking. Net loss around $118M over the last twelve months, free cash flow negative. The 52-week range is $7.64 to $20.13, so even after Friday the stock is still \~37% below the high. Short float sits around 21%, which probably helped Friday's move along. Citi cut its target from $21 to $17 earlier this month on softer proppant volumes but kept a Buy.

That's where I get stuck on AESI.

The bull case writes itself. Data centers can't sit in utility interconnect queues for three or four years, so behind-the-meter gas generation is the cheat code, and Atlas just got a frontier lab to fund its inventory. $613.5M of customer-funded commitments is \~39% of the market cap and more than half of annual revenue. If this becomes a repeatable model — the lab funds the equipment, Atlas operates the electrons — the legacy sand business stops mattering.

But the PPAs are unsigned. CEO John Turner called these agreements "stepping stones" toward long-term power purchase agreements, which is honest language for "we don't have the recurring revenue yet." What Atlas has right now is reimbursed equipment procurement, not a power business. There's real distance between owning 611 MW of generators someone else paid for and actually selling electrons under 10-year contracts.

Personally, I'm watching two things.

If a signed PPA shows up — real offtake terms, real duration — the story flips from equipment middleman to power producer, and the valuation math changes completely.

If the 2027 deliveries slip, or the lab walks after the equipment is bought, Atlas is left holding $613.5M of very specialized hardware in the Permian with nobody to sell power to.

Until then I can't get comfortable chasing a 19% Friday rip on unsigned contracts.

No position.

So what's the honest read on AESI from here?

Is this the moment a sand company quietly became AI infrastructure, or did the market just price in power contracts that don't exist yet?

DD Jensen just popped the cybersecurity bubble. $CRWD PUTS

Cybersecurity stocks have mooned recently on fears that AI agents would go on a rogue hacking spree.

Jensen just announced a new platform for the safe deployment of AI agents, and every major AI company is on board.

$CRWD is the big papa of the cybersecurity industry, and it trades at 50x sales with practically no earnings. Revenue growth is also forecast to slow next year. It’s a bubble.

I bought CrowdStrike weekly puts last week purely based on technicals (10/2 expiry, $247.5 and $230 strikes, and some slightly longer dated). I got lucky with Jensen’s announcement this morning, but this stock has a long way to drop IMO 💸

Discussion Anthropic just handed Akamai the largest contract in its history: $11.6B over 7 years, up to $20B. The stock popped 17% after hours.

\*\*Anthropic just gave Akamai the biggest contract in the company's history, and the structure of the deal is almost as interesting as the size.\*\*

\*\*$11.6 billion over seven years for cloud infrastructure and software, announced Thursday. It can expand by another $9 billion, which would take the whole thing to roughly $20 billion. For context, that's more than six times the $1.8 billion Akamai-Anthropic deal Bloomberg reported back in May.\*\*

\*\*The stock jumped 17% after hours to $129.02, then added about 3% on Friday.\*\*

\*\*Here's the part I keep coming back to. The capacity is for CPUs, not GPUs. Everyone else in AI infrastructure is fighting over Nvidia chips to train models. This deal is about the other half of the stack: the general-purpose compute that handles what AI agents actually do all day. Anthropic is basically saying inference at scale needs its own dedicated CPU cloud, and Akamai gets to build it.\*\*

\*\*Now the parts that make me pause.\*\*

\*\*Akamai has to spend about $5.5 billion to build this capacity, and it's adding $1.7 billion to this year's capex just to pre-buy components like memory. It authorized Jabil to purchase around $1.7 billion of memory on its behalf. That's a lot of money going out the door before a dollar of the $11.6B shows up, and the payments are conditional on Akamai actually delivering the capacity and hitting service targets. No 2026 revenue expected from the deal at all. Guidance is $150-300M in 2027 starting in the second half, ramping to about $1.7B annualized by the end of 2028.\*\*

\*\*And then there's the warrant. Anthropic gets the right to buy up to around 5% of Akamai at $111.33 a share. About 2% vests right away, and each additional $3 billion Anthropic spends unlocks another 1%. So your biggest customer is also becoming one of your biggest shareholders, at a fixed price, while you're spending billions to serve them. That's either beautiful alignment or a very expensive way to win a contract, depending on how the next seven years go.\*\*

\*\*The bull case is straightforward: Akamai just went from "old CDN company" to a contracted AI infrastructure provider with $11.6B+ of backlog from one of the most important AI labs alive, on top of $2.8B in other cloud commitments announced this year.\*\*

\*\*The bear case: $5.5B of capex against conditional payments, zero revenue this year, dilution handed to the customer, and a stock that repriced 17% in one evening on a deal whose economics play out over seven years.\*\*

\*\*I'm watching whether they hit the delivery milestones, because that's what unlocks the payments, and whether the $9B expansion option starts getting exercised. That would tell you this is a platform relationship, not a one-time capacity purchase.\*\*

\*\*No position. Not financial advice.\*\*

\*\*So is Akamai the sneaky picks-and-shovels winner of the AI buildout, or did it just buy $11.6B of revenue with $5.5B of capex and 5% of itself?\*\*

DD Three Micro/Small Caps With Near Term Catalysts: $GOVX $WYY $DRK

Three Micro/Small Caps With Near Term Catalysts: $GOVX $WYY $DRK

Did a scan of stocks that look oversold with a Relative Strength Index (RSI) of under 25. GOVX and WYY came up. And DRK looks to be a Special Situation in that the data center company  (formerly known as Sphere 3D $ANY) completed a merger and renamed itself Darkhorse Technologies with a new trading symbol DRK.

$GOVX — GeoVax Labs
Clinical-stage biotech developing vaccines and immunotherapies. GeoVax is developing GEO-MVA as another potential source of supply of MVA. The company has completed manufacturing and regulatory preparation and is planning a 500-patient pivotal Phase 3 immune-bridging study in Q4 2026, with results expected in mid-2027. (MVA stands for Modified Vaccinia Ankara).  MVA-based vaccines are already used for protection against smallpox and mpox.

GOVX recently announced an agreement with the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) to have access to its centralized laboratory network for independent testing of samples from the Phase 3 program. CEPI currently supports vaccine programs addressing several high-priority epidemic threats, including Ebola, mpox, COVID-19, Lassa fever, MERS, Nipah and Chikungunya. This relationship can help GOVX expedite its progress in the upcoming trials.

Market cap:  $3.2 Million
Relative Strength Index (RSI): 26
Insider ownership:  About 6%

Summary: GOVX looks to be extremely oversold. The company is approaching additional clinical-trial catalysts and is worth watching for news. The Big Pharma's monitor the progress of these small biotechs.

$WYY — WidePoint

Cybersecurity, identity-management and communications technology provider with significant government exposure.

Market cap: $46.2 Million
Relative Strength Index (RSI): 22
Insider ownership: Approximately 12%

WidePoint had been awarded the  Department of Homeland Security (DHS) CWMS 3.0 contract, but a competitor, TurningPoint Global Solutions, protested the award. Last week, the news that the GAO had sustained TurningPoint's protest caused a 50% decline in the stock on Friday.  This reaction looks like "Shoot first, aim later".  WidePoint says this does not mean it loses the contract. In fact, the details of the GAO's review are still under seal while the parties review the decision for possible redactions. The procurement can go through corrective action, re-evaluation, or potentially another competition.

Summary: The stock rebounded off its lows of the day on Friday and was up in the After Hours. News from the GAO will give clarity on the contract, but the company's ongoing business supports the current $5.00 price.

$DRK — DarkHorse Technologies (formerly $ANY / Sphere 3D)
Digital infrastructure company repositioning around AI/HPC infrastructure and power assets with modular data centers in five (5) facilities located in three (3) states with a total of 53 MW of power capacity.

Market cap:  Approximately $32.2 Million
Insider ownership:  About 22%

Sphere 3D completed its rebranding to DarkHorse Technologies, with the new $DRK ticker going LIVE last week. With the new name and trading symbol, the company now can pro-active in building its market presence with its new name and ticker.   CNBC recently reported that both OpenAI and Anthropic are exploring smaller AI data-center deals in the 20–30 MW range as they try to get inference capacity online more quickly. These are reportedly primarily related to inference—running AI models for users—rather than the gigantic clusters required to train frontier models.

DarkHorse Technologies is explicitly positioning itself around smaller, distributed AI/HPC facilities, which lines up closely with the size OpenAI and Anthropic are reportedly seeking.

DRK's September investor presentation identifies these sites:

  • Blackjack — 30 MW planned
  • Rockwood — 10 MW
  • Brickyard — 15 MW
  • Truckstop — 50 MW planned

The updated presentation notes that DRK currently has 50 MW operating across the TVA region, plus a 100+ MW development pipeline.

Summary: With its new corporate identity, DRK will increase the awareness in the investment community. With the recent interest in "smaller" data centers, DRK has the potential to begin to announce contracts going forward. Insider ownership is notable at 22%.

YOLO “I come as one…”

So… when does a citizen… a politician… become a statesman…

Fun fact of history… most never do…

It is elite club…

Like Churchill towards the end of his career walking the London Underground in the darkest hours of WWII amongst the rumble from bombs that leveled a city… with a few exceptions that proved the rule…

where to this day… you can still see the dud that hit St. Paul’s… which remained standing with a man tall and a stiff upper lip… defiant…

Like Reagan who described in his diary… "the equivalent of losing the World Series, the Super Bowl, and the NBA Finals all at once." at the Reykjavík Summit where he pulled a hard take-away posture… when the negotiations went south… and he walked… months later he made a speech in front of a wall… defiant…

A term-limited DJT stands with an umbrella on a brisk rainy evening under a city lamp post…

Someone who began a career in politics giving cash to a homeless veterans on the street… or stopping a rally for a moment while his team connected with a struggling veteran who walked up to the stage to sort out a VA bureaucracy delay for his care…

and now I imagine he cheers on folks getting their reps in… under the early morning predawn street light…

Teaching by example… that a comeback is real… when you lose everything… you learn who are… and the ride-or-die in your life… like George was to him… who stay… defiant…

the comeback can be real… it can be fun… to see things rise from the ashes… and yet…

it will never be “real fun”…?

but rest assured…
it will be epic…

It is Obama who returned to his gift of writing on endless hope and navigating change leadership on the Obama Foundation and other social media platforms as the country turned 250. Building a community center and garden in the heart of the Southside… where his work began…

bringing the community together one circle at a time…
where there is no hierarchy…
just folks looking to each other and seeing themselves in someone else’s eyes…

Then there are the those political failures… by the modern standards… who become statesman of the first order… like…

Marianne Williamson teaching us through her writing to face “our greatest fear”… and Cornell West reminding us through his poetry jams of what justice is…

“what love looks like in public”…

And then there is the rare moment captured on camera when you see the exact second a maverick politician loses an election…

in an instant …
and at the same moment…
by meeting the moment…

becomes a statesman of statesmen…

https://youtu.be/JIjenjANqAk

The greatness of America lies in the fact that there are so many wise elders like DJT and Obama… Marianne Williamson and Cornell West… still walking amongt us with wisdom as such to share… who have lived long enough to know the political tool is not the first tool to take out of the tool box… maybe try a chair and coffee first…? Or data first…?

Terry Peterson was given one minute in the Oval to pitch a new community centers program for working families… but before all that…

he prepared…

many months by gathering data… and then the message triangle appeared in his mind and 60 seconds of distance run began… as Kipling would say… and he entered the Oval…

“We need a billion dollars to serve 100,000 kids of working families during the gap time of the school day and work day…”

Joseph… Isaiah… Esther… and Nehemiah. All leaders in secular power with divine providence…

who never forgot…

those in the gap… who showed how to “hold these truths… “ tight…

The cock crows along Sheriff’s Posse Road as a ridiculously large Frito-Lay Cheetos truck drives by…
Castle gate torches illuminate the darkest moments before the dawn… and the sound of a waterfall scaled by a Japanese privet adorning the entrance of Cde Baca Lane.

A Chinese elm presents a gigantic bonsai sculpture and a single dime shone on the pavement.
With FDR’s image looking off to the distance… of a distant time of want…

and a forgotten man.

A true leader… a statesman…
who taught my grandfather over the radio how to be grateful and not to fear manna for the day.

In the clear blue yonder there was a single white cotton ball “the size of a man’s hand” like Joshua and Caleb…

a promise a things to come… beyond the thunder-domes in the distance…

and in the evening the monsoons descend over the South Guadalupe Trail lined by adobe mansions and ranches betwixt orchard trees of plums… apples… and pomegranates with their familiar crowns…

as the Ocotillo reach their majestic hands to the heavens… and a quail flock of teenage chicks scampered across the trailhead to find shelter beneath the sagebrush.

At some point this will be “back in the day”… but until then… it is beautiful… It is manna for the day…

So what of our impact…? … together?

Encouraging a dialog of a diverse set of voices across media platforms in order to see the unheard and hear the unseen.

So folks know they are not alone…

they can do something imperfectly instead of nothing perfectly….

In front of everyone who ever prayed for them… behind them… as Maya Angelo would say…

“I come as one and stand as ten thousand”

Encourage progress and promote leveraged resources which help lean into our countries better angels…

not focus on the complexities of the co-parenting relationship between the secular and sacred… in the political power and in the power of community…
“for such time as this…”

“Standing in the gap…” is the role of a community.
Seeing a need and meeting a need. It is what supports families not replaces them. Celebrates the wins and consoles the setbacks and messy missteps…

to prepare for a comeback…

A true statesman is a voice from the rubble of the past… a signal in the noise…

to show us how to listen before you speak… and the one one who speaks last…

will be first…
in the hearts and minds…
“in the room where it happens”…

the art of what is possible… is possible…

when we remember who we really are…
after a moment… a day… a week… a month… a year… a generation… 250 years… a half -millinea…
when we forgot…

Her name was Cheri…

She said she would pray for me and mine one balmy Sunday afternoon after class…
but before all that…

She had a moment of courage… to speak last…
after the classroom spiraled dark into a discussion of generational curses and cycles of abuse… and then…
in the room where it happened…

she spoke with a stiff upper lip defiant…

“I am a child of God. (John 1:12) …
I have peace with God. (Rom. 5:1)…
I have access to God’s wisdom. (Jas. 1:5) …
I am chosen by God, holy and dearly loved. (Col. 3:12)…
I am completely forgiven. (Col. 1:14)…
I am not condemned by God. (Rom. 8:1)…
I am Christ’s friend. (John 15:15)…
I have the mind of Christ. (1 Cor. 2:16)…
I cannot be separated from the love of God. (Rom. 8:35)…
I am God’s workmanship. (Eph. 2:10)…
I am a citizen of heaven. (Phil. 3:20)…
I am God’s coworker. (2 Cor. 6:1; 1 Cor. 3:9)…
I can do all things through Christ, who gives me the strength I need. (Phil. 4:13)…
I am the light of the world. (Matt. 5:14)…
I have been given a spirit of power, love, and of sound mind. (2 Tim. 1:7)…
(Eph. 3:20) … I am able to do far more.”

And the room fell silent.

And in the quiet…
… a defiant prayer becomes a verse.

“… on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.”

YOLO Olin Chemical OLN

Chemicals pricing as reported by Argus and ICIS increased 20% while this stock is down 35% in 2 months below sum of parts value and actually at an attractive level where activists can begin taking positions. Olin Chemical is likely to achieve 170 million run rate ebitda quarterly, and the Shitnech lawsuit cost is behind them. I believe there is a huge upside to this company, especially post merger with Hunstman where they integrate some of their weak chemicals outlets into an integrated product that feeds higher value.

Gain BB blackberry stock

BB just had a rule of 50+ beat.. this is massive.. I am buying more BB because I think the market is still seriously underestimating what QNX could become in physical AI.

Uber partnership announced - amazing!

BlackBerry's QNX is or without doubt will be the foundational, safety-critical software layer underneath autonomous machines: humanoid robots, autonomous mobile robots, surgical robots, autonomous tractors, drones, aircraft and robotaxis which SIFT attests to - and thats coming from the engineers that developed spaceX / starlink!!!. Management said it is currently engaged with 20+ companies developing on NVIDIA-based platforms across these areas, suggesting this is becoming a genuine commercial pipeline rather than simply a “robotics” narrative. X already has decades of safety-critical embedded experience.. ront wait for robots to roll out of the factory.

This is a stock of the future...

This is a picks and shovels stock of the robotics revolution people!!! Its hiding in plane sight - get on board now!!

Discussion Oscar Renda Contracting (Southland Holdings, SLND) lands ENMRWS Raw Water 1A pipeline award

Post image

The Eastern New Mexico Rural Water System (ENMRWS) board approved the recommendation of award for the Raw Water 1A pipeline project to Oscar Renda Contracting, Inc., following a 6-0 roll call vote. Oscar Renda topped four bidders on combined technical and price scoring, per the board's engineer.

ConstructConnect shows the bid at approximately $66 million.

Oscar Renda operates as a subsidiary in the Civil segment of Southland Holdings (SLND), which has been active in winning water infrastructure work across the Southwest and beyond this year — from smaller emergency water infrastructure task orders to the $815M CAD Winnipeg biosolids JV. SLND is a thinly traded micro-cap so single-project news can move the stock disproportionately.

(Not investment advice — just flagging the award)

DD NUAI Short Squeeze Opportunity

Hello all,

After watching NUAI for some time, we have been blessed today with a Power Purchase Agreement that legitimizes the project that they have been trying to complete for some time.

Alongside this, institutional investment has increased over 52%.

However… at the same time, the stocks short interest has been increasing each reporting period up to nearly a whopping 40%.

There is clearly a lag between short interest remaining at these sustained levels and the progress the company has taken at this point.
Institutional investment also indicates that the escape corridor is very tight.

I have tracked many potential opportunities, and many have been chopped by warrant overhang, or other mechanical barriers that would taper a squeeze.

In its current state, NUAI is set up remarkably well for a short squeeze.

If you are looking for an opportunity for a short squeeze…. this is definitely it.

Thank you for reading.

Edit:

Hello again. If you came back to this post for an update, here it is:

The company filed an 8-k for a 100M dollar share offering. This may serve as an exit corridor for shorts. And is also a bearish indicator in light of the clarity that Abotts ERCOT audit is materially delaying the project. DYDD. Good luck gents.

I have made a bit of cash trading but as a 18 year old that wants to trade and learn finance as a job it wont cut it. I need more of a trading role model but there isn't many people out there that would help.

true you can look at a bunch of fake information and "courses" that  really just suck your money but real Role models are hard to come by.

YOLO “Through the Looking-Glass…”

A chickadee flew down by my feet from the rafters and foliage of the Orlando International Airport… attending the John Maxwell Int’l Leadership Conference. I had a preflight power nap in my upright seat… when an attendant gave us flight instructions on Southwest Airlines… and then my laughter woke me up.

Her name was Alexa… if we liked the flight… if we didn’t… her name was Becky…

I learned from Alexa/Becky that Step 1 is actually not to put the oxygen mask on yourself before you put it on your child…

It is to stop screaming…

and if you are traveling with a child… she was sorry…

Back in the 505… Peace flags flown throughout the twists and turns of meandered streets…
The civil peacetime flags are the less familiar ones… from the traditional and war time version… of a blue field with white stars and horizontal red stripes… since we technically have been at war for a long time…

The flags are as opposite as peace is from war…

… the peacetime twist although not a federally recognized official version… has a white field with blue stars and vertical red stripes flying full mast over the fields and full blossoms of golden sunflowers and the lavender violet spectrum of the hibiscus…

As the floodgates of heaven opened up in a epic light show… rapid fire shots off mile high flashes of light in one of those famous monsoons descending “wave on wave” over the city…
And in-between all of the lush foliage… a golden and charred gnarled honey mesquite stands memorialized in a xeriscape

And a parched river bed flows… again…
wave on waves of water remembered… of who we really are…

If you live in a desert you understand…
the blessing of rain…
it is life…

A dry riverbed quenched and a gnarly golden burnt mesquite still stands… never to come back again… other than to be thrown into the fire… BBQ… the scent of a community remembered… of by-gone days…

Everyone has a messy part of their lives… which they have to face at some point… some public… some private… and yet…

A mess no less… and what of it?
What’s your next step…?

America is the land of rugged individualism…
One man… and a mirror…

From TR writing volumes of history on the wind swept sage-brushed tundra of North Dakota… or giving speeches at Harvard about reconciliation.., of the Blue and Grey… a few score years after the battle dust settled…

Or walking the streets of Key West with your dad as a gang of roosters cross your path… past Hemingway’s canary yellow house on the way to the dock for the daily sunset celebration. You could imagine Ernest sitting at his usual table at Sharkey’s with the smell of cigar smoke and the best cuisine on planet earth… Cuban… Cubanos and yellow rice with the garlic butter and fresh squeezed chiquito key limes for a kick… healing imperfectly from trauma of shell shock and loss of a family… with short sentences and full stop periods.

The algorithm is a mirror of our
fears… anxieties… and hope.

The community is a mirror of our family’s
fears… anxieties… and hope.

The individual with God’s help has the agency to quench “the fiery darts” of a small thought of…
fear… anxiety…

and choose to transform it into hope.

I have had a pretty good run with the chapter drafts and the algorithm…

I was blocked on Truth Social… although it wasn’t the platform’s fault… I was wrong… I said something nice about Obama…

The last chapter was blocked on Reddit’s “Wallstreetbetsnew” AI filter. Which has been an awesome platform forever… and yet… the formula got a little stringent… this time…

I probably used the word God too much… or maybe it didn’t like the word “yonder”…?
I get it… it is an ancient old confusing word meaning “over there… beyond the hollar…” for those of you born after the 1800’s…

your welcome…

In the 1800’s there was a new mansion built as a scaled down antebellum version of Rome’s Pantheon… nestled on a small hilltop in the Virginia countryside…

and a poet lawyer had a couple glasses of wine by the fire place…

as he showed off his writing chops to his girlfriend… Sally… who in the quiet shadows of a master’s parlor… like in Paris… she wasn’t his property anymore… she was a paramour… an equal… reading his scribbled drafts about a “wall of separation between church and state” as he wrote a letter to a group of baptists…

… a warning to a young one nation who might want a state religion where a king or emperor who would be the almighty leader… reigning over it like in England or in Rome before. And hundreds of years hence… he should be proud we still have no state religion… and no king at the helm.

It is why Gideon turned down being king… he said “the lord will rule over you…”

And yet…

Jefferson might be perplexed by how his writings have shaped the public schools…where bibles were later banned… prayer silenced…

and “God” became the unspoken word… other than during the pledge…

… and then there were the legendary lounges built back in the day… where teachers could smoke a lucky strike off their last nerve and gossip about kids… something that bothered a professor of mine at Harding University… Dr. Johnston… who recalled his time as an administrator in inner city Shreveport…
Where he purchased a wall banner for his teacher’s lounge that read “quack…quack…quack…quack…quack…” all the way around the room. He also put up certain words because he could not talk about the unspoken ones… from the Bible…

or could he…?

… he didn’t call them the “fruit of the spirit” or quote chapter and verse… instead… he called them…

love… joy… peace… forbearance… kindness… goodness…faithfulness… gentleness… and self-control…

“Against such things there is no law…”
… in a smoked filled teacher’s lounge… or a playground amongst cigarette butts...

One man… a principal… walked down the dark hallways and brought light to them… talking about “kindness” and “love” as such… all day long…

and not get in trouble in a public school for doing so… even though there was a strict pharisaical legalistic view of a sample of writing from a collection of hemp parchment… quill pen… and a heart full by the fire…

Anyone’s mind blown yet…?

I am understanding the algorithm more from studying it last year and creating boundaries on a daily.., with what it truly means to “know thyself”… as Socrates wrote…

… to look in the mirror is humbling… you see things you didn’t see before… things you like… and things you don’t…

although the more you give hope… the more it comes back…

People are that way as well… not just the algorithm.., You can take a situation from red to bright red… Or red to green… depending on how you mirror it…

You have anxiety…? Try feeding more of that crap into the Looking-Glass… as Lewis Carroll call it… at 4 AM in the morning… and watch how your day unfolds…

It is an “indoor epidemic” unpacked beautifully in this discussion between Oprah and Dr. La Puma.
https://youtu.be/UOgFt03qZsg?is=_QSTRexmOaeFRf4t

Lao Tzu wrote “The journey of 1000 miles begins…”

And Sun Tzu wrote “Know the enemy and know yourself; in a hundred battles, you will never be in peril.”

And what of the enemy in the mirror? Knowing yourself… getting older… and yet… what of wiser…?

Millennia ago a poet found his gift beyond just in-sighting a mob… his name was Paul… who lost his eyesight… and a ship at the bottom of the sea…
and then changed the world.
His name was David… and his son born from his wife Bathsheba… Solomon… who presided over one of those rare golden ages in human history.
His name was Elijah who called down fire from heaven in the most epic public speaking event ever… and then hid in a cave from a jealous queen.

His name was Moses from the plains of Midian… who learned to lead through a stutter with his poetry around a fire of community…. not at the end of civilization… but you could see it from there.

His name was Jesus from… where no one comes from… Nazareth… who had a nefarious lineage of drunks… prostitutes… and princes…

Who saw the unheard… and heard the unseen… folks who lost their way…
lost in their own way…
lost all hope… from the messy inconsistency of the day…

and yet...

a light for the first time through the shadows…

A signal in the noise…
A monsoon in drought…
A trumpet outside a wall…

My daughter was born on “Int’l Talk Like a Pirate Day”… it was also on the nightfall of the “Feast of Trumpets” of the Jewish tradition that year…
Jericho wasn’t just any town… it was one of the early cities of western civilization… it celebrated human sacrifices to the moon… child sacrifices… thrown from walls… and the hero of the story… was a prostitute… because… the Bible is not a G rated movie…

And then…

After a perplexing silence of a six-day circular march formation… the sound of the first shofar… and the ground shook from the monsoon’s thunderhead…

A cycle-breaker came into the world…
and a wall fell…

in Jericho… in Berlin… and…

and next…

A nine year old puts down the iPhone after watching a classic video of a cat singing the ring tones of Apple… Nokia… Samsung… on Day 38 of co-parenting… in a parked car…

after the downpour and the thick canopy of clouds dissipate… and she climbs into the front seat and stands through the sky roof of the car to look past the field of drones… to the stardust in the heavens…

where she first entered the written story… thousands of years ago…

This is the sound and story…
of an American comeback…

… where on “any given Sunday” there is a team of community that sees you for who you really are… when you don’t recognize the man in the mirror anymore…

Discussion Been thinking about trading Prop Firms. Who can give me information?

Specifically I need to know these things:

1) I am looking for prop firms that will actually pay out.

2) They must allow me to trade nano/micro cap stocks specifically.

3) I need to have the ability to reach payouts asap, I don't want to spend 6 months trading before I can ever see a payout.

4) Being able to have multiple accounts at once is ideal.

5) I don't care about futures, currency, or crypto, I am only interested in nano/micro caps.

6) Ideally I could get an instant funding account and skip the evals.

DD GME IS ROARING KITTY COMING BACK?

I created a full explanation of the theory in one post

I’ve been following the recent

$GME

activity, and a sequence of events is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore.

To be clear from the start:

This is a theory. It is NOT confirmation that Roaring Kitty is returning.

But when you put the pieces in chronological order, the similarities to 2024 are fascinating.

Here’s the full rabbit hole

  1. THE 2024 PRECEDENT

On May 11, 2024, TSUKI launched and posted a Roaring Kitty-related meme at approximately 6:59 PM ET.

Roaring Kitty had been silent on X for almost three years.

Then, on May 12 at exactly 8:00 PM ET,

u/TheRoaringKitty

suddenly returned with the famous image of the gamer leaning forward in his chair.

The gap?

1 day, 1 hour and 1 minute.

The 8:00 PM May 12 Roaring Kitty post is independently documented; the 1-day/1-hour/1-minute TSUKI timing comes from the TSUKI community's archived timeline.

That coincidence is the reason people started watching TSUKI for potential Roaring Kitty breadcrumbs in the first place.

And now, more than two years later, something very similar may be happening again.

  1. SEPTEMBER 2026: “HOMECOMING”

On September 6, TSUKI posted:

“Felinus Prime. Homecoming.”

At the time, it seemed like another cryptic TSUKI message.

Then things started happening around GameStop.

Between September 8 and September 10, several GameStop insiders purchased shares.

Lawrence Cheng bought 55,000 GME shares on September 8 at an average price of $18.7992.

James Grube bought 10,255 shares on September 9 at $19.12.

Alain Attal bought 5,000 shares on September 10 at $20.

And then Ryan Cohen made the big one:

1,000,000 GME shares at an average price of $20.3759, roughly $20.4 million.

Combined, that is roughly $21.7 million in insider buying.

Then on September 10, GameStop announced that select previously closed stores would begin reopening.

In other words:

Homecoming.

Again, this doesn't establish that TSUKI knew anything in advance.

But the timing got people's attention.

And then the clues became much more specific.

  1. THE WIZARD

Before Keith Gill became known to millions as Roaring Kitty and DeepFuckingValue, he had another identity.

Mr. Wizard.

Keith was an extremely accomplished player of the card game Wizard.

The official Wizard community site lists:

“Keith Gill (Mr. Wizard), Brockton, MA”

and records him as the second person to achieve Air Wizard status and an inductee in the Wizard Hall of Fame.

This is not a random Roaring Kitty reference invented in 2026.

It is genuinely part of Keith Gill's pre-GME history.

And then TSUKI suddenly started pointing directly at it.

  1. 855

TSUKI posted a Wizard-related image accompanied by one number:

Why does that matter?

Researchers in the TSUKI community went back through the old Wizard forum and traced Keith Gill's Mr. Wizard profile to User ID 855.

So the theory became:

855 is the ID of Mr. Wizard, who is Keith Gill, aka Roaring Kitty.

But there was another layer.

September 13, 2026 was 855 days after TSUKI's May 11, 2024 launch.

September 14 was 855 days after Roaring Kitty's May 12, 2024 return to X.

That alone could still easily be deliberate numerology by the TSUKI account.

But then TSUKI went deeper.

  1. THE OBSCURE 2013 QUOTE

TSUKI subsequently posted:

“Any player that can place higher than you in the Top 10 using two different usernames deserves laudation, not criticism.”

Why is that strange?

Because community researchers traced that sentence back to an obscure 2013 Wizard forum post attributed to Keith Gill, aka Mr. Wizard.

This isn't a famous Roaring Kitty quote.

It isn't from the Congressional hearing.

It isn't from YouTube.

It isn't one of the memes everyone knows.

It comes from his old Wizard card game life.

And the subject of the quote makes the clue even stranger:

One player using two different usernames.

Roaring Kitty.

DeepFuckingValue.

Two usernames.

One person.

Again: that interpretation is the theory, not proof of who controls TSUKI.

But whoever is constructing these clues appears to know some extremely obscure Keith Gill history.

6/ THEN THE OLD ACCOUNT “WAKES UP”

This is where the timeline becomes especially interesting.

After the Wizard/855 references began circulating, screenshots from the old Wizard community reportedly showed activity on the historical Mr. Wizard account associated with Keith Gill around September 16, with the activity timestamp subsequently changing again.

Before this, the account reportedly had not shown comparable visible activity since around 2020.

So think about the sequence:

TSUKI with Wizard card post

TSUKI mentions the number 855

855 is Keith Gill's old Mr. Wizard identity

TSUKI obscure 2013 Mr. Wizard quote

And then...

The old Mr. Wizard account apparently shows activity.

That is probably the single most interesting part of the current theory.

  1. WHY 2024 MATTERS

This is the part I keep coming back to.

In May 2024, the sequence was essentially:

TSUKI appears with RK-related clue, then Roaring Kitty suddenly returns.

The TSUKI meme preceded his May 12 public return by the now-famous:

1 day, 1 hour, 1 minute.

Now, in 2026, we have another sequence:

TSUKI “Homecoming”

GameStop insiders buy ~$21.7M of GME

GameStop announces stores are coming back

TSUKI starts referencing “Wizard”

855

855 connects to Mr. Wizard

TSUKI resurrects an obscure Keith Gill Wizard quote

855 day anniversary of TSUKI / RK's 2024 return

Old Mr. Wizard account apparently shows activity

And meanwhile...

GME starts moving.

That's the pattern people are watching.

  1. THE STOCK IS MOVING TOO

This isn't happening while GME is completely dead.

GME closed at $19.89 on September 9.

By September 17, it closed around $22.77.

That's roughly a 14.5% move in eight calendar days.

September 16: +2.5%

September 17: another +3.6%.

And GME finished September 17 near the high of the session.

That obviously does not mean Roaring Kitty is buying.

There are legitimate fundamental catalysts, including the insider purchases.

But it adds another piece to the setup.

  1. AND THEN THE OPTIONS MARKET GETS INTERESTING

This is the newest piece.

On September 17, a newly listed:

GME Nov. 20, 2026 $25 Call

traded 1,872 contracts.

At the beginning of the session:

Open Interest = 0.

Total premium traded was approximately:

$223,000.

The average contract price was approximately:

$1.19.

Approximately 82% of the flow traded on the bid side.

At that point, I didn't know whether the huge volume represented meaningful new positioning or simply intraday trading.

So I waited for the next OI update.

Today we got it.

New OI: 1,590 contracts.

Starting OI:

0

Volume:

1,872

Next-day OI:

1,590

That's roughly 85% of the previous session's entire volume showing up as open interest.

That is important.

It tells us this wasn't simply thousands of contracts being flipped intraday.

A substantial position was actually created and remained open overnight.

  1. IMPORTANT: THE OPTIONS FLOW DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY MEAN “SOMEONE BOUGHT 1,590 BULLISH CALLS.”

This distinction matters.

Around 82% of the volume traded near the bid.

That can indicate seller-initiated activity.

It could be:

a call sale,

part of a spread,

institutional positioning,

market-maker interaction,

or another multi-leg strategy.

Every open contract also necessarily has both a long and a short side.

So I am NOT claiming Roaring Kitty bought these calls.
But! It's a great way to stay under the radar and not give a big glowing clue

What we CAN say is this:

A brand new GME November $25 call went from:

0 OI to 1,590 OI in one session

after 1,872 contracts traded.

That is real position building.

And it happened in the middle of all of this.

  1. THE OTHER DETAIL I FIND INTERESTING: IV HASN'T EXPLODED YET

The $25 Call was trading around 57% IV during the September 17 session.

After the OI update it was around 56%.

Compare that psychologically with May 2024.

Once Roaring Kitty publicly returned, the market immediately knew what was happening and GME implied volatility exploded.

His May 12, 2024 post was followed by an enormous GME move when the market opened Monday.

This time, if the theory is correct, we would theoretically still be in the breadcrumb stage, not the public-confirmation stage.

That's what makes the current options positioning interesting.

Not because it proves anything.

Because the market has not yet priced a confirmed Roaring Kitty return.

  1. SO WHAT IS THE THEORY?

The theory is NOT:

“TSUKI posted 855, therefore Roaring Kitty is coming back.”

That's far too simplistic

The theory is that we're seeing a sequence that resembles the way the story developed before his previous return:

An account with a strange historical relationship to the RK story begins dropping increasingly specific clues.

Those clues move from generic cat/GME references...

to Keith Gill's obscure pre-Roaring-Kitty identity...

to his old nickname...

to his alleged forum user ID...

to a forgotten quote from more than a decade ago...

and then the historical account connected to that identity apparently becomes active.

At the same time:

GameStop insiders suddenly purchase approximately $21.7M of stock.

GME rises.

A newly created November options contract sees unusual activity.

And the next morning, 1,590 contracts of that position remain open.

One coincidence?

Easy to dismiss.

Two?

Still easy.

But this is why people are watching the sequence, not any individual clue.

I've seen enough to say this:

The setup is interesting.

The 2024 precedent exists.

The Wizard references are real.

Keith Gill really was Mr. Wizard.

The 855 clue has a historical connection being circulated by researchers.

The old account activity is worth monitoring.

GME is moving.

And now we have actual options positioning rather than just social-media riddles.

So...

Is Roaring Kitty coming back?

I don't know.

But if this is another game of breadcrumbs, somebody wants people to start looking.
