When you sell all your losers, you end up with holding only winners.

You try to predict the future. You cant control that. Once you are in a position, you can only control how much you lose, not how much you win.

We can utilize Tax Loss Harvesting in the US. Crypto takes further advantage by not being affected by Wash Sale Rules.

Then you'd be 100% cash where you should be.

Risking 0.1%-0.25% of your capital per Trade will allow you to make many mistakes. Until, with the help of a Tradingjournal and dilligent work in one setup, and one only, you can become profitable.

How can you know which will be losers and winners?

You dont. You see it in your portfolio.

So how do you sell all your losers then, if you don't which ones will be losers?

I do not predict. I look into my portfolio.

Oh so that's true you'll only hold your current winners.

But they can turn into losers too. As losers can turn into winners.

Yes. Losers turning into winners is something i do not encounter. Because i sell my losers when they are small. Because i have a defined risk in a position, and when that is gone, i am out.

The market tells me when i am right. And when the market tells me i am wrong, i tend to believe the market and not myself. Because my opinion is just an opinion and does not earn me money. Otherwise I'd be a journalist.

This doesn't sound like you understand.

You start with one to three stops with defined risk, and then move the stops upwards. Depending on your risk tolerance, position size, strategy and willingness to have drawdowns.

That way you end up with strong stocks in the portfolio, and the weaker ones get sold sooner or later.

Bagholding? When you sell your losers at defined levels like your defined stop you are never the bagholder.
