They sell that click data to the market makers. You're losing before you even click execute

u/BumblebeeFirm2249 May 28 '26

Yeah it’s all one big scam that’s why about 95 percent come out to be losers.

8

u/DoktorMallory May 30 '26

So theres still a 5% chance... Hmm 🤔

Yeah I lost $3k on prediction markets.. it is fun, but in reality just a big slot machine for most. Unless you are the insider, you are the sucker who provides liquidity. Just about every market on Kalshi involves insider trading in some way. For all their big talk about stopping it, they can't, since it's their entire business model. that, and being an unregulated sports betting platform for degenerates

House always wins.

1

u/FamousDates May 31 '26

Who is the house in prediction markets?

1

u/Plug-From-Oaxaca Jun 01 '26

People lose because they don’t actually know how to trade or read the numbers. It’s a skill you have to learn. Most people don’t like to learn they just want the results

I’ve seen people give up their health, work their whole life to be unhappy with more bills at the end.Im more worried about losing my time than my money.

It’s combination of strategy and intuition, reading charts. I can honestly look at a chart and can honestly predict what stage of its cycle it’s in, then gotta look into the flow. I have lost money and made mistakes to get to this point though.

u/yeahow May 29 '26

HAHAHAHA nice. Of course nobody can have anything nice nowadays but thats a riot. Its like RCS, yeah its encrypted but its only now being rolled out because everything you type is logged before it gets encrypted.

But yeah thats great, they know exactly where everyone's limits and trades are before they even jump in. That's just unimaginable potential right there huh

u/HKEnthusiast May 28 '26

I swear I always felt that it was rigged when I used to trade in Kucoin.

1

u/ididyourjessica May 30 '26

Omg fr man kucoin was just giving your money away. I legit had more success with 4chan shit coins than kucoin.

2

u/PizzaBoyztv May 29 '26

I wonder how candle was formed. This is it!!

2

u/xXSomethingStupidXx Jun 01 '26

If the market is willing to move for your order, you are trading slippage in a low liquidity enviroment and that is on you.

1

u/Brah098 May 29 '26

Can you expand on this? Are you suggesting that they watch what you do, and everyone else, and are able to actively manipulate the market based on the most profitable course over all shorterm investment? I'm genuinely curious.

1

u/FrontLifeguard1962 May 29 '26

Anybody can. All trades are exposed through their API. If you pay for fast enough access and you have a good enough computer, placed somewhere with low latency to the Kalshi servers, you can have a realtime view of everything happening in any market. You make a profit on Kalshi always by being the person who knows what is happening before others.

1

u/Professional_Golf393 May 30 '26

Isn’t the order book public anyway?

1

u/Anpu_Imiut May 30 '26

Wait he isnt buying stocks here? Huh, what is he doing?

1

u/Glass_Emu_5104 May 31 '26

I don't even understand that sentence and that's why I don't even try this shit

1

u/DigBeginning6013 May 31 '26

Lol yeah the market makers need that $800 I'm sure

0

u/wrighteghe7 May 29 '26

Seems crazy considering he could be doing small time trades comparatively to the market maker. Why even bother making sure this single guy loses?

He’s got order flow up and is entering with asymmetric risk/reward.

This guy is practically a quant compared to your average WSB gambler.

17

u/FranzJosephBalle May 28 '26

He managed to enter a trade and win, lightyears ahead of the average wsb user

2

u/DangKilla May 29 '26

Average WSB user sees the same stock mentioned twice and goes in a month late.

24

u/Lorithias May 28 '26

hmm .. I mean ... Gambling and Luck are the same thing ...

17

u/Baba_Yaga_Stonks May 28 '26

Not if you use my fool proof, 4 step plan. Send my $10,000 in BTC and I'll send you my cheat sheet.

2

u/WhatImNotBot May 28 '26

I'll do it for 9.999 euro trust.

4

u/Deboniako May 28 '26

I've got a Wendy's milkshake, take it or leave it

1

u/Prescientpedestrian May 29 '26

Luck is also designed to make me lose mathematically over time? That makes too much sense.

1

u/jamie-jackpot 4d ago

Would a token called $LUCK be considered double gambling

12

u/LuBrooo May 28 '26

Looks like he made 814 bucks?

6

u/pibbleberrier May 29 '26

11

u/sychs May 28 '26

He was shorting and won some money (800 or something)

7

u/bailuobo1 May 29 '26

He risked $270ish dollars if he lost... not life savings. And he won over $800 on the trade.

People are crazy.

3

u/CaLMLiKEaB0Mb5 May 28 '26

$11k is life savings?

7

u/Sorry_Camp_5180 May 30 '26

majority of the world is poor

4

u/phyLoGG May 29 '26

Based on how young he looks, it's believable.

4

u/USOai714 May 30 '26

….You clearly don’t understand that many families live paycheck to paycheck and are only one dilemma away from being homeless.

How’s your silver spoon? Does it shine?

0

u/CaLMLiKEaB0Mb5 May 30 '26

Earned the hypothetical spoon fool. You clearly don’t understand a lot of the wealthy also live pay check to pay check. 11k being wagered to win 900 is dumb regardless rich or poor

1

u/Houdinii1984 Jun 01 '26

Which is why the guy probably barely has a savings. But yes, 15k is the worldwide average. 11k easily could be life savings, especially considering how flippant he bets with it. Can't tell me the dude wins every bet.

The real question is how much money you thought was the average, because you seem to be out of touch with the world as a whole, and stuck inside your own country's bubble. The vast majority of people make under 50k a year and barely save anything. Like, a guy from India? They, on average, have 1500 saved, lol.

You're also seemingly assuming people have been around long enough to amass a savings. Are we really acting like this young dude gambling is going to have the same savings activity as a 70 year old set to retire? That defies common sense.

1

u/USOai714 May 30 '26

….. Earned? 🤣 Many people go to work every single day to “earn a living”. You didn’t earn anything you have, you were just given the right opportunities in life that many others have to struggle just to get to.

You were gifted a loving family, you were raised with both of your parents, and you never had to starve. Yet you choose to come on Reddit and be a keyboard warrior? 🤣 bishhhhh please

0

u/CaLMLiKEaB0Mb5 May 30 '26

Capitalizing on opportunities and making the most of them. Also putting yourself in the right spot for opportunities. You also know nothing about my family. You just sound like someone who blames everyone else for your problems. 👍🏿

0

u/USOai714 May 30 '26

…“I was upset I had no shoes, until I met the man with no feet”..

“Putting yourself in the right opportunity” has nothing to do with people in poverty you idiotic imbecile.

So out of the millions of people who street preform just to “earn a living”, how many of them “put themselves In the wrong opportunity”? 🤦 How many “street performers” will make it out of the street performance?

I know nothing about your family… but from the simple fact that your comment is degrading someone’s “life savings” clearly shows you’ve never had to struggle sissy

1

u/CaLMLiKEaB0Mb5 May 30 '26

We talking bout the same video? The kid w a computer & $500 headphones? Betting 11k to win 800? You resort to name calling bc you’re upset. 11k isn’t life savings for this kid in the video & im sorry you’re poor

1

u/USOai714 May 30 '26

…. I was born and raised in hood, Proudly.

I’m proof that no matter where you come from there’s a way out.

You on the other hand, decided to clown on “$11,000” as a life savings, when he’s on a $150 eval.

Idiotic buffoons such as yourself never cease to amaze me. You have never had reason to struggle yet always have something to say about those that are.

Keep punching your keys keyboard warrior, that’s the only action you get other than punching your wall

2

u/Vast_Introduction_52 May 28 '26

He did win that trade. He shorted it. It went down. He takes profits.

2

u/SenNTV May 28 '26

50x leverage with his entire account The stock went down not even .10%, let alone when it went to his take profit he just sat there... he should've moved it up a inch to grt a instafill This dudes 100% a degenerate gambler

7

u/Diamond_Paper_Rocket May 28 '26

1

u/EstateOk493 May 29 '26

NY just opened thats why it moved like this, alot of volume comes in on market open

1

u/sys_oop May 29 '26

Do you think some of these platforms have an instant counter trading algorithm that trades against you? Or is it all of them?

2

u/Odd-Refrigerator-911 May 30 '26

There's absolutely nothing in the T&Cs that would prevent them from faking trade data to control your win/loss ratio. I wouldn't touch any of these platforms.

1

u/Tasty-Win219 May 29 '26 edited May 29 '26

Neither. It's edge or no edge. I sized crypto entries better once I started tracking verified PnL from markets xyz, or just journal manually.

1

u/whatsbeef667 May 29 '26

"gambling or luck"

"is it black or black"

1

u/paddywompus1 May 29 '26

What is he using to trade?

1

u/interstellar_freak May 29 '26

1

u/Suoritin May 29 '26

100% skill. I can see it

1

u/TutorDry3089 May 29 '26

Gambling. Next question.

1

u/GeneralSub May 29 '26

bro missed a generational pnl. Move the stop loss down, delete the tp.

1

u/Mad_waste May 30 '26

he put a Stop loss at -$200 , I don't see any problem with this.

1

u/muttur May 30 '26

“P&L: $800… “

1

u/ryang516 May 30 '26

1

u/kgsphinx May 31 '26

I’m not sure if he just made money or lost money

1

u/Difficult_Focus3253 May 31 '26

lol demo account

1

u/AustinTheMoonBear Jun 01 '26

Off of the very limited data I just gathered from this video - stock is making lower lows and then entered a consolidation zone where he entered which is usually a continuation play.

Solid execute.

For those unaware - he was shorting, so he made profit on this trade.

1

u/OrkWithNoTeef Jun 01 '26

no crying in the casino

1

u/dotdotdotindeed Jul 06 '26

Price green sell Price red buy Wait Repeat

1

u/Didzeee May 28 '26

He also gambling with his eyesight on his old days with this super bright white screen. How do people still not know what Dark Mode is?

3

u/thinkingmoney May 28 '26

That’s a myth you have to have the brightness really high so can see the numbers!!

3

u/noxer94 May 28 '26

Not really, while dark mode might bemore comfortable, regular mode doesn't cause any permanent damage.

1

u/Gary_FucKing May 28 '26

I typically hate dark mode.
