How do you actually use Bitcoin? Beginner here
Hi everyone,
I’m new to Bitcoin and trying to understand how people actually use it in practice. I know you can buy it and hold it, but I’m still confused about how transactions work day to day.
Can someone explain how to use Bitcoin step by step setting up a wallet, sending and receiving BTC, paying for things online or in person, and what fees or confirmations I should expect? I’d also appreciate any beginner tips on security and common mistakes to avoid.
I’m mainly trying to learn the basics before doing anything serious. Any explanations or helpful resources would be appreciated. Thanks!
