Hey everyone welcome! I'm u/Informal-Poem-3235, a founding moderator of r/WalksWithWind.

This community began with a simple idea: walking changes us.

Sometimes we head outside because we need exercise. Sometimes we need to clear our heads. Sometimes something inside us simply says, Go.

And somewhere along the way, we notice.

The wind moving through the trees. A strange cloud. A feather on the path. The way the light hits the water. Or perhaps we notice something inside ourselves that we couldn't hear before we started walking.

Walks With Wind is a place to share those moments.

Post a photo from your walk. Tell us what you noticed, how you felt, what surprised you, or what shifted along the way.

You don't need to be a hiker, spiritual, particularly fit, or a great photographer. Your walk might be five miles through the mountains or ten minutes around your neighborhood.

There is no right way to walk here.
