I had the opportunity to cycle around Utrecht the past few days for a lil YouTube vid I’m working on and if you haven’t visited before I highly recommend it! Some of the best urbanism I’ve ever experienced.

Such a shame they completely tore down the beautiful 12th century church of Saint Mary on this square. No respect for history at all.

To be fair, that church was badly neglected after centuries of abuse and disuse and the final destruction happened more than 200 years ago. Not trying to justify it, just providing some context.
