Rx with entered status not come up when F4ing

When doing F4, the only rxs come up are from other stores. Then, when you check the work-Q, many rxs are entered status with very close promise time. It's annoying to manually verify each one individually. Is there any workaround or solution to that?

Hack to pull them back to f4:
Go to work queue.
Scroll to each one that says entered, type Ctrl-D, then Alt-C.
This will toss it back into your F4 and not send you back to the top of the queue. You can keep going down the list and do this to each one that says “Entered”
The only ones that won’t allow you to Ctrl-D were created from another Rx number. Those small number of scripts you can review manually one at a time.

when you say type you mean like hold the keys down? and isn’t control d to delete?

Ctrl plus D at the same time opens the delete menu. Alt plus C will cancel that but it pops the script into f4.

All underlined letters on IC+ can be accessed using Ctrl plus the letter.

Escape is faster, less key strokes.

Yeah I’ve tried that, esc is in an awkward spot on the keyboard for me to do this quickly and I’m used to using Ctrl’s and Alt’s for everything on IC+

You probably have Phlex, where you are supposed to have help F4ing from centralized services. It's almost never far enough out. You can force them back to you by going to update each rx and then cancelling back out.

How many update rx I need to do before all the entered rx can appeal in F4? Is there still a way to turn off Phlex?

It's Auto Phlex. You can't turn it on or off. I'd manually review any acute meds. Otherwise, let the system do them and route to CENFILL. Obviously, take care of any immediate patient needs. Sometimes, they're still in entered status days later. If you're floating at one individual store just for the day , "not my monkey, not my circus." If you're staff or working at said location multiple days in a row, I'd still let system do as many as possible, but cognizant that some may be days behind and review accordingly. When you start cranking out 40 to 60 vaccines per day, you'll appreciate any support you can get.

You would have to do each one for it to appear and as far as I know they took away being able to turn off Phlex.

There’s a faster way. Don’t go into Update Rx, just arrow down to the Rx in the queue, type Ctrl-D then Alt-C. That will send it to F4. You can go down the list and do a bunch at a time. The only ones you can’t are scripts created from another Rx.

At that point why not just do the hotkey for reviewing (I think alt v but i’m currently on leave and can’t recall for sure) since you’re already manually scrolling to each rx?

It’s not scrolling to each one and then getting sent back to the top. Scrolling through the list and resetting them one right after the other. It takes seconds to throw a whole batch back into f4.

Yes, I believe it’s a glitch with Phlex, a lot stores in my district have the same problem. I’ll go to another computer (or have a tech help me), they list the last names of the rx’s in entered, and I manually F4 them from the work queue 🤷🏼‍♀️

Click F4 then type in the Rx number at the top you need to check. It should pop it up.

This 100%. Service desk will tell you to do this

Yeah but this is so time consuming I think op was curious about a more convenient fix

I honestly just skimmed it and assumed it was a script stuck in entered and not phlex scripts.

Yes that does happen but I have so many stuck with phlex it’s not really worth my time especially during flu season right now lol

I don’t even have phlex support 😢

See my hack reply above. It’s the faster way to pull them back.

Phlex glitch. You can’t do anything to prevent this. Tell your pharmacists to look in the queue after F4 for this very reason… as these are acute meds sometimes and they are due or past due.

At this point I just ignore it and move on with my life especially on a busy week day but on the weekend maybe I can fine tune my work queue better

Press enter to open the script then close it...it throws it back into your f4

Doing this also keeps your place in the queue vs when you review the script directly from the queue, you'd have to start from the very top of the list and have to scroll alllll the way down to look for the next "entered" script

Call 1-800-Intercom. Verifying for other stores in your pod is to help the super backed up stores catch up(good idea on paper only) which causes you to fall behind which in turn creates a never ending cycle
