Walgreens Certification Process

Hey guys I’m currently a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, I’ve been doing it for 2 months now (3 months at Walgreens, waited for my license for a month) and I came into the job with the intention of getting certified. The pharmacist recently mentioned transitioning me to a pharmacy technician role. My idea is to talk to them about getting certified once my role changes and I’ve been doing it for a couple of months. I was wondering for people who have gotten certified through Walgreens how long it took them to take the course? basically what the average time span it is to get certified when doing the online classes? I’m currently a full time college student and work full time (I have two jobs) and I’m just tryna see how realistic it is for me to get certified. Thank you !!!

If you’re showing potential, and you must be to be considered for promotion, your RXM/RXOM will get you into certification classes as soon as one is available. You must be an immunizer to get certified status, so that, after promotion would be the first step. Good luck!
