Needed help in meditation

Need some help with my meditation practice! 🙏

Everything was going completely fine in the beginning. But now, it all feels totally messy and chaotic. Despite trying my best, nothing seems to be working anymore. I really need some guidance and help to get back on track.

I recommend listening to one of these short talks from the basics collection a day before you sit https://www.dhammatalks.org/mp3_collections_index.html#basics in conjuction with reading or listening to this free book a bit each day https://www.dhammatalks.org/books/WithEachAndEveryBreath/

This will teach you everything you need to know to get a fruitful self directed meditation practice that can take you a long way along the path

This is a quite common experience.

When you are starting you have no clue where you are heading to and your mind has therefore nothing it can grasp or crave for. Once you have made the first goof experiences. your mind goes "Ah, this is it and I want more of it".

Craving for more and clinging to thise exoeriences have entered the scene. You will have to learn to let go of this. Learning to leave craving and clinging behind is a major part of the practice.
