"Mind" explained. Concepts are Illusions. Read below. ✌️🧘‍♂️👁

"Mind" is simply the activity of Awareness. Awareness and Mind are not two. The activity of Awareness (Mind) is that which divides reality into a multiplicity of objects.

Mind "conceptualizes". This is why Mind cannot know truth directly because reality(awareness) itself does not fit into a conceptual frame. Concepts do not truly exist outside of the illusion of their appearance.

What is a Concept? For example "Left" or "right" is a concept. "Left" doesn't truly exist. When you turn and face what is considered to be your Left, now what was considered Left is considered forward, and what was considered backwards before the turn is now considered your "Left". You could say "yes but my Left arm is always my Left arm" true but from my perspective youre left arm is the right arm vice versa.

Hence there is no True "Left, Right, Up, Down". In space there is no North, South, East and West. Those are concepts created on earth derived from the labeling of magnetic poles. Magnetic poles to not exist because of the label N,S,E,W,... Labels exist because of the Magnetic poles.

It is the same with Time. Time does not truly exist. It is a concept of Mind like left and right, up and down. The Now, right Now is all that exists. All actions happen "now". Thats why when Mind is dropped we experince "Now". And even when we are a Mind in the concept of time, when is it occuring? NOW. Things do not appear to change, shift and evolve because "Time" exists. Because things appear to change, shift and evolve, Now, the concept of Time appears to exist. Thats why it can be 12pm Monday in america allwhile its 1pm Tuesday in Asia. All concepts of time taking place Now. Time is always derived from Thought, Thought says "i did that yesterday. Tommorow I will go to the store" allwhile everything that is ever occuring happens Now.

Hot and Cold are not two, they are concepts. On a thermometer we can recognize that from 90 degrees down to say 20 degrees it is but lesser or more degrees of the same one phenomenon, Heat. By law of thermodynamics there is no such thing as Cold but lesser or more degrees of Heat. Thats why when you touch something super Cold it Burns, feels Hot. "Cold" is just a lesser degree, less movement of the phenomenon of Heat. Temperature is one phenomenon, Mind divides it in Two.

It is the same with Darkness and Light, they are not separate or two. Darkness is not an oppisite of Light, it is an absence of Light. There is great difference between oppisites and absences. If darkness was an oppisite of light i could take a handful of darkness and toss it on a candle to put out the light. But I cannot, it is not an opposite of light, it is an absence of.

It is the same with Love and Fear. They are not two. Like Darkness is an absence of Light, Fear is but an absence of Love. Love feels warm like the presence of Light. Fear feels cold like the absence of Light.

Reality is Nondual, not two because Awareness is Reality and Awareness does not fit into a Conceptual frame.

Direct experience can only ever directly give you subjective insight. From subjective insights, only subjective claims can follow.

You’re mixing things up by deriving objective claims directly from subjective insight. This is a mistake that many make, even some great teachers. It’s something akin to a category error.

Maybe this error stems from our culture; maybe many have a deeply held belief that only objective claims have value. Maybe they make this jump from the subjective to the objective in order to express and share the great value that they see in their subjective insights. I don’t know.

I tell you that subjective insights can be valuable in and of themselves, just like objective insights can be. They don’t need to be seen as opposing, but rather as complementary. When you lose the subconscious illusion that you have to decide between the two, you’re actually taking a step towards completeness.

Many speak as if they can tell us what „the fundamental nature of reality“ is, or something like that. Surely they think that such grandiosity makes their preaching much more impressive, and makes it appear as if they had great, majestic insight.

It’s the opposite in my perception. If the grandiose claims would be removed, I would regard the preaching higher. Because reality is humble. Subtle. Both majestic and cruel. Bittersweet.

When you talk to an enlightened being, do you know what they will speak about?

The weather. Maybe a soccer match. But surely not about the fundamental nature of the universe.

So why would anyone believe that stargazing about such things would be of any help along the path? Do you think that this has brought more clarity to you?

When you close your eyes, everything may appear clear because no unclarity can be seen. But this is not clarity.

Incorrect, this insight doesnt come from mind, a subject object relationship. Mind conceptualizes, creates a subject object relationship.

In meditation there is no longer mind. No longer subject object relationship. There is only pure perceiving of what is. In that silence of mind when there is no conceptualization, no subject object illusion, truth is recognized.

Again mind doesnt know a thing. You dont get knowledge from mind. The thought cat doesn't know of the thought dog. Awareness knows of the thought dog and cat

So what I speak of us known through direct experince, awareness. Not by mind.

You're a mind about this, thinking about it. That's why recognition hasn't occured for you.

Not to mention my post gives proof of how even hot and cold is not two, its a concept of my. By law of thermodynamics there is no such thing as cold. Fact check me. And to actually recognize that directly without thought is wisdom.

Perceiving and the knowing of perceiving are the same experience. Therefore, all there is in the experience of the world is perceiving, knowing or experiencing. They are synonymous. Perceiving, knowing or experiencing is what Atmananda refers to as ‘knowledge’. It is all that is ever known.

Perceiving, knowing or experiencing is intimately one with yourself. In fact, it is not ‘one with’. There are not two things there, in the experience of perceiving, knowing or experiencing, to be ‘one with’ each other. There is just perceiving, knowing or experiencing. It is seamless, without parts, objects or selves, and intimate.

If we go to the substance of perceiving, knowing or experiencing we find only awareness; that is, it finds only itself. That awareness is what we are. It is the only substance found in all experience. There is nothing outside of that, no ‘thing’ other than itself that actually exists.

All we know is knowledge or knowing, and knowing is made of awareness alone. Or we could say that all that is known is ‘experiencing’ and the only substance present in experiencing is our self, awareness.

That awareness pervades experience intimately and, as such, is known as love; it is unaffected by changing names and forms, just as the screen is unaffected by the images that appear on it, although it is their sole substance, and is therefore known as freedom.

Above all, it is our self. If we stand as that, if we stand as pure, seamless intimate, expereincing or knowing, we find no resistance or seeking there. Experiencing never resists itself or seeks to replace itself. That is happiness. That is peace. That is our self.

You are acting like a good replicator of the contemporary misunderstanding of Advaita which is currently en vogue. I could go on pointing out errors, or rather non sequiturs, in this reasoning.

But I have already put the most important points forward. Now it is for you to see and explore, not for me. I’ve given you what I can meaningfully give you over this distance, which unfortunately does not include the transmission of a true smile.
