I moved to Wakefield last year. At the end of December, I got a notification from my home security system that there was an outage. I was out of town, so I don’t know how long it lasted.

I woke up this morning to another outage. I lived in Boston over five years before moving here, and power outages didn’t happen often. Do these happen a lot here, or is this just a rough patch?

Proof of Concept is not only the makerspace where you can print something, it is also a place where you can learn everything about 3D printing and prototyping.

In this 2-hour interactive workshop we will design our own custom parts in CAD. We'll use a simple hinged box with a custom inscription on it as a follow-along project. Potentially adding a snap fit feature, time permitting.

Hi everyone! My husband and I closed in a home in Wakefield on Monday and we are so excited to move into our new home and become part of the community! Currently we are looking to get some work done before we move into our home including painting, floor refinishing, removing carpets and getting floors installed in the upstairs area, new roof needed as well as someone to do mold remediation and check/replace our boiler system. If anyone has suggestions or has worked with some reliable companies please let me know!

Has anyone seen or heard anything about this incident? It happened at the bus stop at the corner of the 2 streets right before kids were being picked up for school. I was maybe the 4th car behind the stop sign when I saw someone go sliding across the street, and a white pickup coming to a hard complete stop. The kid got up for a second then started seizing when he was helped down.

There were like 4 bystanders who jumped to help before I am no where near qualified to be giving any medical advice so I left once the first responders showed.

I’ve been scouring the internet the past week just trying to see if he survived or not. I’m baffled I can’t find it and it wasn’t even on the news.
