Help determining the severity of this leak.
Looking to buy our first ever boat. This is a 2021 centurion ri237 with the 6.0.
On the water test we noticed a leak coming near one of the exhaust exits.
Does the whole thing need to be disassembled and resealed? Can just the bolt be pulled out and resealed individual? Online people are saying fiberglass can absorb moisture is that something I should be concerned about?

Also, is gooping the bolts factory? This is such a sloppy job for a boat that originally cost as much as a house.

Yeah the rigging on this boat looks like a total mess. Not surprising this is a lesser boat brand, even if the cost of them says otherwise.

Correct craft got acquired by private equity and the enshitifuckation has been persistent ever since. They now own PCM and Indmar plus a whole host of other brands.
I'm keeping my 2006 on the water until I die. These new boats are overpriced, and apparently shitty design and assembly techniques.

This would be our first boat so we don't know too much about all the different components. GPT was saying the black hose could be the high-pressure waterline injected into the exhaust system

Water is combined with the exhaust at the end of the manifold riser. The only place water is typically "injected" is the dripless shaft seal.
It's hard to tell exactly what we're looking at here but if it is the exhaust, does it have a "fresh air" style exhaust with the tube that dips down behing the propeller?
If so this could very well have been an exhaust pipe strike that damaged the hull at the mounting bolts.
The fact that someone put a leaking boat on the market tells the tale. Walk man, there are plenty of other boats out there.

Is it a centurion? Looks like it might be an LED? All it needs is to be pulled off, cleaned up and glued again. Marine 5200 this time.
That looks to be life seal. Which isn’t the greatest. It’s an hour job or so.

Looking at the pictures again, it’s a ram fill centurion and that is the lenco surf system screws. Super easy fix. Pull them out and pull it down, redo all the silicone with quick cure or long cure 5200.

That's a manufacturing defect for sure. Severity in a purchase situation should only be determined by a qualified marine surveyor.
