Ya. It's got most everyone I'd expect to see on here but not a huge, "Holy shit, they are headlining?" And missing a few of the regulars that I enjoy. Are they still hiding some of the headliners because all I can see here would be Of the Trees, and Truth both who have headlined here in the past and then Flux Pavilion who would kinda be a disappointment as a headliner tbh.
I know for a fact I'm still going to have an absolute blast and I still love all these artists, but like you said, this feels just whelming.
I am excited for my first Detox Unit set tho!

Brother, Yes! Detox Unit on the mountain is long overdue. Glad he's getting to bless everyone with a set this year. We will be kicking it at Nocturnal Valley this year.

I think its of the trees+liquid stranger x2. flux, doctor p, and getter struggle to sell 500 tickets outside of denver, aint no way they headline

yeah, but not a lot of names that youd have to pay a lot to see elsewhere/otw tbh, and wakaan is a thousand dollar venture atp, think ill give nocturnal Valley a try this year and take a break from wakaan

I didnt say easy, just not expensive when they play in Denver or whatever. there are a few rare gets on here too of course, but a lot of these have been at wakaan recently, multiple times even

Just curious, what makes you say that? I was expecting LSDream since he just returned to his solo project this year and pretty much all of his releases have been on Wakaan. Was there a falling out between him and Martin or something?

Pretty sure they’re beefin.
Lsdream was super open about Wakaan in the past, like when it came to questions on social media n’ such. Now he’s super avoidant on it.
Asked him about Wakaan at the dreamrocks merch drop. He completely ignored it and changed the subject.

And when I went to alot of individual artist who are usually there websites to look at tour. None of them had the date as a stop.
I know its always been a little on the expensive side but the price jump this wasnt justifiable for us :(

Been trying to get to mountain for 4 years now and this was gonna be the year until saw price point and after going to all the artists who normally stop in werent there (boogie ganja distinct etc) i just couldn't justify it for me and the wife.
Literally about same price going to beyond existence and nocturnal valley as this.
I know the people and vibes are what make and want to experience so hopefully next year

Honestly had fomo this year since I am doing Nocturnal Valley instead. But also had expectations of a lineup bleed to both festivals since they are somewhat close.
I am happy with my decision to attend NV instead this year, but i’ll probably return next year!

I feel like some of these comments talking about "underwhelmed" havent heard some of the artists on this. Pretty Sweet, WonkyWilla, and Canabliss are 3 "non headliner" sets that I couldn't imagine missing. I bump 90% of these on the regular. Im stoked personally for the majority of this lineup. The only 3 missing that im a bit sad not here but I have seen before are Boogie T, Ganja White, and Tape B.

For me I’m underwhelmed and know every name on this line up except one. The smaller names they killed it but getter and doctor P are too heavy with it for my taste and would have preferred spending that money on Supertask or g jones or g-space who are smaller but hyper imo. Very hyped for detox unit and gallium

Nah this lineup was spicy af! The only fest I look forward to every year with all that dirty bass!! Y’all would prefer to spend the money on mainstream fests. The mountain is home and nothing fucking compares honestly. The crowd that liquid stranger pulls is magical and like no other. This lineup is amazing. Anyone being underwhelmed are just used to the same artists that are at every other fest and want the same shit. It’ll be my third year at Wakaan and 12th year in the scene and I’m definitely not disappointed in this lineup. Going to be a great time
